This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm.
From the elevator down to the beach, to the tropical plants, to the hand paintings to the live music at night. Very quaint. Dinners and breakfasts were good as well.
I did find they didn't speak much English and catered more to older German clients.
Oh and it does have a nice view of Stromboli at night

My husband and i stayed for 7 nights and we absolutely loved everything anout this place...the beautiful gardens ...the pool ..spectacular views from our sea view room ...the refreshing beach at Parghelia ...amazing sunsets...comfy beds..quiet place...good breakfast and dinner was great too...friendly lind staff...thank you for making our stay a memorable one ..we highly recommended il villagio pizzuta to everyone lookimg yo fet away from the tourist sopt of tropea and enjoy and relax in this stunning place 👌

The park is wonderful with lots of plants and flowers from various parts of the world. All is well maintained on a daily basis. Personnel is friendly and professional. Breakfast is very good even if not various with the same food and beverages every day. Some improvement should be done for lunch and dinner giving more room to local food and a broader choice in the menu. Beach is very nice and clean.

Really enjoyed staying at La Puzzuta. Such a beautiful setting staying in rooms surrounded by stunning botanical gardens. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It’s not far from Tropea. You can walk there in 20 minutes or order a taxi to take you to there. You can access the hotels private beach by an elevator within the grounds.

The village is an earthly paradise, a botanical park of rare beauty. A beautiful swimming pool shaded by trees helps to cool off in the hours that are too hot for the beach. The route down to the beach is quite easy, certainly more tiring for older people, the fantastic sea and the equipped beach. The food was good and the service was very attentive, a particular thank you to Rosa and Gianluca at the bar for their smiles and kindness. A special thanks to the guys at the reception who made themselves available beyond their duty, thank you very much. I didn't give 5 stars only because I think it was rude to have allowed a group to organize a party with a DJ by the pool, an evening in which all the other guests of the village could not participate. So the families with children, for whom the classic baby dance was usually planned, and the other guests remained on the sidelines without any alternative activity.

Spectacular village with an immense garden that looks like a botanical garden and private access to the private beach.... parking.... excellent cuisine... swimming pool and panoramic terrace with spectacular sunsets.... what can I say, definitely recommended for maximum tranquility and for the sea.... prices not exactly cheap.... but today with little money you can't do anything anymore!!!!

Wonderful experience: the 5 senses awaken and the mind finds its corner of paradise to completely relax. The garden is wonderful, the village spotless, the service excellent, the food sublime and the view breathtaking. The sea is a daydream.
