Paris 9th arrondissement-Opera 2-star Hotels

If there is a definition for Parisian housing this will be it. Even as an asian, space was cramped but enough for large luggages. Toilet was narrow but had hot water. Service counter staff was nice, allowed for early room key collection.

I stayed here with my sister during our holiday in Paris and I can say I was very happy with the choice made! Two-step structure from Moulin Rouge and its metro, 10 minutes walk from MontMartre , a spacious area, open mainly at night, a starbucks in front of the metro stop, then brewery, poke, hamburger, locals for all tastes + a large supermarket (also exactly at the out of the metro). Reception h24 - a little date structure, small stairs and a little uncomfortable but essential room, small, a small closet and a mirror, but for the location and price, for two girls is super recommended! I never had the feeling of being in a bad area, at the evening of a full-fledged, but quiet, and not new, but also here, for the price it is fully presentable and useable. The only sin (which was not a problem for us) is that at night it is not a quiet area, just not having light sleep problems and nothing to revert. The phone and telecommand of the TV are to be requested at the reception. As far as we are concerned, super recommended!

Paris is a land of money and accommodation. Accommodation is really expensive. The hostel is not big and the elevator is small. The corridor is narrow. Breakfast is six euros, bread milk milk water butter jam coffee juice. The room was ok, the most unbearable thing was that the blankets were really dirty. I do n’t know who came up with the idea of using a blanket. You do n’t know how to wash such a thick thing after using it. I found at least a dozen hairs of different lengths and colors on my blanket. Really. Disgusting to me, unbelievable. The brother at the front desk had a very good service attitude and asked if he could change to a blanket. He gave me another bed very refreshingly, but the result was still dirty, and a lot of hair stuck to it. Finally, helplessly asked for a sheet to cover the body. Fortunately, it only took two nights. There are many Asian restaurants, supermarkets, and bakeries downstairs. It is convenient to buy things. I even bought a bottle of 0.8 Euro mineral water.

Excellent location, quiet, clean with friendly staff. They gave us a triple that was in fact a double-adapted, which limited movements within the room, and above all there was no support even for a single trolley. The last night of a hotel problem they changed rooms giving us a true triple. The only sin, though informed when they arrive at the hotel, they don't deposit baggage.

Stay for an excellent hotel even you are in a tight budget. You can enjoy everything in this hotel like the location is in the city center, more amenities, lots of resto, shopping malls, few steps on the Metro and bus stations, can dine at a cheapest resto at the corners of the streets but not on the main boulevards - it is pricey. Thanks to the staffs of the hotel, they are amazing, very friendly and no discrimination even if you are an asian people. Special thanks to Ma Florence, Eunice and the very beautiful girl at the reception (I forgot her name sounds like Ms Donnie. Also the young old man, always at the counter, very accommodating and smiling face as always. I definitely recommended this if you have a limited budget. Unlimited breakfast buffet for only 9.50 Euro. You would not avail the breakfast. The hotel has free coffee and water. We are stayed at the ground floor but I suggest better to take a room on the higher level of the floors to see the beautiful corners when you outside of the window. This is up to 5th floors. I think. The location is very good, the weekly newspaper is very convenient to eat and drink, three friends stay, the room is too small.

I was due to stay here for 2 nights, having arrived by overnight coach from Geneva. Upon arrival in Paris, I headed straight to the hotel, where the guy on reception agreed to store my bag in the cupboard until I could check-in. So off I went for a wander around Paris, during a heatwave, racking up thousands of steps! After lunch, headed to the hotel via the nearby franpix shop, stocking up on water and a couple of snacks. Having booked through Booking.com, their profile stated I could pay by 'Visa or Mastercard' and that the property already had my card details. I was expecting a straightforward check-in, however... When trying to check-in, the receptionist - who I'd not seen wearing a face mask at all - checked my passport and then told me that I had to pay, but that the card machine was broken. He demonstrated this by holding up an unplugged card machine... He pointed me in the direction of a nearby ATM. This immediately sent alarm bells ringing, as I knew that they had my card details already, and what are the odds that the card machine has just broke? I have since found reviews going back months stating that they were also advised that the card machine wasn't working. Unsure what to do next, I asked if I was free to leave. He said that they wouldn't charge me, but had no control over booking.com. I found this odd, but he was already ”dealing” with a couple of other complaints from guests (no hot water and no fan working), although his attitude seemed very dismissive. Now stranded in Paris, I rang booking.com to query if they would be charging me. They advised that they had no control over this, and that it would infact be up to the hotel! So the booking.com customer service agent rang the hotel, and this time he said that it was not up to him, but the ”manager”... A story he reiterated when I rang the hotel directly (by this point I was an hours walk away, in scorching heat). Booking.com said they'd email asking the manager to waive any charges owed (wording used was I was cancelling!!!). Strangely, within 15-20 minutes the reply came in that they would not be!! So I rang booking.com up again and they again spoke to the hotel, emailed the manager and told me to wait 24 hours. That's all I'll say on booking.com in this review, as that's a story for another day... With nowhere else to go, I decided to head home 2 nights earlier than expected, forking out an extra £85 in travel expenses. By the time I'd arrived back in the UK the following morning, I found that 'Jeff Hotel.VPC' had charged my credit card! How very odd that they could charge me within less than 24 hours after leaving, with apparently no working card machine!! I am waiting for the transaction to clear and will then be raising a chargeback. This hotel ruined the last couple of days of my holiday to France. The whole situation is very suspicious. This hotel is definitely one to be AVOIDED at all costs.

HOTEL IN UNA ZONA NON SICURA!!! Evitate proprio ci sono ladri proprio davanti all’hotel. Personale maleducato truffatori vogliono solo soldi in cambio di niente . Io pago per avere almeno una stanza adeguata. Iniziamo dalla stanza per due persone che dovrebbe essere matrimoniale è piccolissima , il letto ci sta malapena una persona le lenzuola erano sporche . C’era solo UNA PRESA in tutta la stanza!!! Per non parlare del bagno sporco non fornito di saponette come dovrebbe essere . Sempre nel bagno c’è una “finestra” che sembra una porta quando si apre sei per strada , la nostra non si chiudeva e anche la porta del bagno . Siamo andati a parlare con la reception tra l’altro è una persona scortese e male educata è entrato con noi in stanza ha visto che non si chiude ha provato a chiuderla ma non ci è riuscito poi la porta del bagno stesso era rotta l’ha vista e ha detto “ what is the problem you are both friends “ poi ci ha lasciate perdere . Abbiamo deciso di andare in un’altra struttura e abbiamo chiesto alla reception di cancellare la prenotazione, ci hanno detto no non la cancelliamo prendete appuntamento con la presidenza poi ne parliamo. PESSIMO HOTEL , PESSIMO PERSONALE . Evitate veramente!!!!

The service staff is pretty good, friendly, the elevator is small, if you can't get in with large luggage, the room does not have a hair dryer, the toilet is small, the sewer is a bit blocked, but it does not affect the use, the room is clean, in short, it is not bad.

The hotel is located near the pigga subway station, only a few minutes walk from the subway station, near the Montmartre high ground, the next station is the Moulin Rouge, the main attractions can be reached by subway, and the boss is very good.
