Hotel Lutetia, Paris

From the minute we stepped out of the car, we were greeted by Leila’s warm smile and she addressed us by our name. She handled the check in process, gave us a tour and took us to our room and explained everything. We were also very surprised to see the beautiful welcoming gifts which awaited us. The room and amenities were very comfortable. It was a great home for us for the five nights we were there. The concierge team could not have been more accommodating, helping us navigate changes to restaurants, setting up rides and helping us recover our first night in a fabulous restaurant after our original choice was not available. We were helped by Antoine, Raphael and Margeaux specifically. They could not have been more helpful or professional, always with a smile. The front desk personnel were always ready to assist and greet us with a smile as we came out of the elevator. Our room was decorated with rose petals and wished us Happy Anniversary upon our second day there. What a beautiful touch. We spent our last night sitting at the bar in Josephine. The bartender was an extremely talented mixologist. She was very friendly and it was a great way to recap our trip in a relaxing environment. We have traveled quite a bit, but we must congratulate Lutetia on the exceptional professionalism but most importantly the warmth with how we were treated while staying there. We felt at home and well taken care of in a very comfortable, friendly manner.

Hotel de Sevres

The hotel is close to quite a few Metro stops and within 40 minutes of departing at Gare du Nord we were at the hotel. We went direct to the hotel with the intention of dropping our bags but we were able to check in early which was blissful after our early start. The hotel was clean in the communal areas as well as our room. Our room was on the sixth floor with a view of the apartments not the city view as described. This did not really bother us as we don't generally spend much time in hotels. The room was warm so the aircon was always on at 16 degrees when present. The bathroom was a nice size with space to store toiletry bags. The hair drier was excellent (I have very long hair) but the cord could have been more flexible. It was nice to have plenty of space in the shower to put toiletries. There was a shower curtain which both my husband and I detest. It was clean! The main room was quite spacious with a large full length mirror. There was limited storage so a chest of drawers would have been useful - 2 small drawers in the desk was the only space for putting your smalls. My husband lived out of his suitcase! Only one comfy chair. We didn't book breakfast so can't comment on this although none of the staff asked us if we wanted breakfast and there was no information in the room as to what it included. ( we had breakfast in one of the many cafes around - 5- 12€) Likewise we had no idea what was available in the bar area or costs as there was no price list in the room. Being British I like my cuppa in the morning and due to medical conditions mint tea in the evening and during the night - next time we will bring our travel kettle! Limited sockets in the room for charging tech and if you have an iPad with no 4g then you will not be able to connect to wifi as you need to connect through a email. Internet was good. The room could do with a refurbishment as lots of holes in the walls. It did look like it had been repainted in recent years. Overall a good experience for our 4 night stay and if we went back to Paris we would consider this hotel again.

Le Placide Saint Germain des Pres

The room was very comfortable, very clean with daily housekeeping service. I really enjoyed the lovely bath. We had a triple (queen bed plus a twin bed). A very small elevator carries two people at a time up to your room. (elevator is not wheelchair accessible). Each floor has only two guest rooms. We enjoyed sharing stories with the kind gentleman who coordinates breakfast (I'm sorry I do not remember his name). The breakfast food was always fresh and delicious. On our last morning he made my daughter feel special by preparing a pancake for her 😊 I remain grateful to Benjamin and the staff accommodating my mobility needs by obtaining a wheelchair and always making sure I was comfortable. Their efforts made it possible for me to enjoy touring Paris. I will return here next visit.
Hotel le Saint Gregoire

I just returned from a trip to Hotel Le Saint Gregoire with my mom, aunt and sister n law. This hotel was a highlight of our trip. The attention to detail of the well appointed, clean, comfortable and beautiful rooms was top notch. The best part of our stay was the amazing staff - Eduardo, Thomas, Henri and the wonderful breakfast hostess were so friendly, attentive and they took great care of us from giving us restaurant recommendations to helping us navigate transportation. We cannot wait to return!
Hotel des Grands Voyageurs

This hotel is the best in Paris for a week. The location is very convenient, go out is the 4th line There are many choices for eating around. Le Bon bon mache is the best mall in Paris within walking distance. The hotel rooms are modern, spacious and clean with air conditioning. Great service and free luggage storage. If you come to Paris next time, you will still choose here.
Hotel & Spa la Belle Juliette

Lovely small hotel. Restaurant is lovely and outdoors. Be aware that some rooms only have bathtub with handheld shower, so there is no way to take a normal shower without holding handheld shower over you. There is not much staff visible as most of time when going through reception there was no one at front desk. But hotel was safe. My opinion went down when treated incredibly rudely by emplyee when I went down to seek water from room. Hotel advertised that there will be water in room refrigerator for you. It was never refreshed by housekeeping. When seeking water I walked into restaurant after hours because door was wide open and I was filling a reusable water. The gentlemen on duty proceeded to rudely admonish me for not dialing 9 to ask for water as if it was my fault that I made the effort to seek water. There was no one at the front desk so I certainly did not expect there would be staff to deliver water. He continued to be rude to me as he filled the water bottle for me which I had to ask him to do. I was profoundly disappointed by the rudeness of an employee of the hotel. His attitude and behavior was unacceptable. So if you do not mind getting verbally roughed up by the evening front attendant it is a great place to stay. The other staff was lovely. So whoever the evening attendant was on June 30, I hope you realize your behavior really shadowed the opinion and experience at La Belle Juliette.

Hotel location is very good, one minute is the subway station at the entrance, walking to the Eiffel Tower for about half an hour, downstairs shops, restaurants, a lot of rooms, the room is bigger than expected, the front desk service is very good.
