Room too small. No bedside lockers. Nowhere to put suitcase. Room too warm. Can hear trains passing beneath and feel buildling vibrating despite thenfact that I was on 5th floor.
Excellent location beside Gare de L'Est and close to Gard du Nord.

Super small room, but already expected it since they did clearly indicate the size is 11!
There is a water dispenser in the lobby, which was fantastic. They also provide storing of luggage without a fee (not overnight). So we could continue exploring Paris after checking out.
Only con: the hairdryer is the old mounted type which had wasn’t strong. Photo is one I found online, not a photo I took from the hotel. But it is the same type.
There’s a supermarket just beside the hotel.
There are also many eateries nearby: KFC, Burger King, McDonald’s and non-fast food:
- Boullion Chartier (affordable Paris food),
- Pain d'amis (Bakery/ Boulangerie directly opposite)

+ Room is new and clean. Location is near main train station, bus. A lot of shop and restuarant near hotel. Staff is nice.
- Room is too small for luggage 30 inch, I cant open luggage as properly.

When I checked in, the charger was working fine, the next morning when I left the room I put the charger on the bed, when I came back to the room at night the charger was already on the floor, when I wanted to charge it, I found that the charging cable was broken and I couldn't use it, I responded to the desk that night, the staff said that it would take the next day to respond to the manager, the next day the staff invited the manager to come in and the manager was very unhappy, he kept on repeating how I could prove that it was the staff of the hotel who broke it, and I said that I was reacting to my situation.I was reacting to my situation, after all it happened when I came back, I said how I could deal with it, he said he couldn't give any compensation, or give me 5 euros?It was really disrespectful, I finally just said that I expressed my situation, he took the charging cable left behind by another customer and asked me to take it away, I said that this is the original fast charging cable, I don't need this, the manager started to talk to me about how the telecom company sucks, and that they keep changing the plug cables and so on, so it's really a bad experience, and he even said that he's a Frenchman who only speaks French and so on and so forth, and that it's disrespectful, and that he's not going to be able to take it away.If you want to book, please think about it, if you have a problem!

We stayed at Hôtel Libertel Gare de l’Est Français and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with a taxi arranged by the hotel.
On the night of 23 May, we asked the hotel staff to book a taxi to CDG Airport for four people. Before confirming, we specifically asked about the fare, and the staff clearly told us it would be 60 EUR. Based on that assurance, we confirmed the booking.
However, when the minivan arrived, the driver charged us more than the confirmed amount, despite there being no delays, no extra luggage, and no added services. As we were rushing to the airport to avoid missing our flight, we had no choice but to pay the higher fare.
We emailed the hotel afterward to request support or clarification. Unfortunately, their response was disappointing. They distanced themselves from any responsibility, claiming they had no partnership with the taxi company and that the quoted fare was only an estimate. They offered no help in resolving the overcharge.
This experience left us feeling misled and unsupported. If the hotel chooses to arrange services for guests, they should take some responsibility, especially when their staff communicates a specific price.
We strongly advise future guests to arrange their own transport or get written confirmation of all prices. Sadly, this left a negative impression at the end of an otherwise pleasant stay.

Nice sized room, great amenities, within walking distance to Paris Gare De L’est and Paris Gare du Nord is not far away either. Everything is good, except this staff by the name of Sam, he will give you a hard time if you don’t remember your room number when you are back to collect your luggage in storage after checkout!

The hotel is close to the train station Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est. It is also very close to the metro station line 4,5 and 7. The price is not bad but the room is a little small. It’s good for a solo traveler for a short trip. They also provide buffet breakfast for 14 euros and express breakfast for 5 euros. The staffs are very nice and friendly. It was a nice stay.

The location is great as you are next to two lain train stations and metro. However, the walls are paprr thin and you can hear people having conversations on the street. Also, the room shakes every minute due to the trains.
