Hotel Perreyve

Our stay was only for two nights since we were going to be in Paris for one day before flying out to another country. The location was very good for access to multiple popular tourist sites throughout central Paris. When we arrived to enter our rooms, we were surprised that our entire hallway was dark -- no lights! We had to use our phone flashlights to see in order to find our rooms and use the door keys. There was construction being done on our floor -- but, they didn't tell us that! When we opened the door to our rooms, we were taken aback at how SMALL our rooms were (on the 4th floor). The bed took up the entire room area with about two feet of space around it to be able to step around it. Honestly, it was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in -- and I've traveled other parts of Europe, South America, Australia and Central America. Nevertheless, we knew we weren't going to spend a lot of time in the rooms. We were there to be out and experiencing the city. So, it wasn't terrible. It was just so surprising to be in such a small room for the price we were paying (and no lights in the hallway while construction was being done while we were there). The front desk staff was very polite and helpful during our stay which softened our experience overall. It wasn't terrible. Just don't have high expectations. Its a three-star hotel for a reason. You're paying for location, not a high level of comfort.

Traveled with a family member and asked for twin beds. When I booked, it was an option to request, but when checking in, they had none available. I asked if there was any possible way, as it wasn't apropos for me to share bed with my young family member (not my child). They said no, so I stated I would be looking to change hotels and asked if that would cost anything. The night desk worker stated no, since I only paid my first night online. So we booked another hotel, that was able to guarantee twin beds. Infuriatingly, when we checked out the next morning, the new desk worker stated that the manager denied to request to not charge for nights I did not stay. I explained the situation again and she said she'd explain to her manager that the only reason we booked the separate hotel was that they said they wouldn't charge the days I had not stayed. This lack of proper communication is completely unprofessional. Additionally, for those that don't have issue sharing a double bed, be aware the room and bathroom are incredibly small. There's no room to change in the bathroom. So just be prepared.

Small but cozy rooms in the heart of Paris. I enjoyed breakfast which was simple but delicious. The staff is very helpful and kind. I recommend this place for couples who want to spend romantic getaway in Paris. It is easy to reach all attractions from this hotel.

This hotel was lovely, we had a great 3 night stay. It is in a fantastic location near the Jardin du Luxembourg, only a 6 minute walk to the nearest metro station and within walking distance to many tourist attractions. The room was extremely clean, bright and fresh. The staff were lovely and did everything to help us with any queries. The bed was amazing, the only problem was that it was hard to leave it! Would definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our time at the Hotel Perreyve! We stayed four nights October 2-7, with a one night side trip. Thankfully, the hotel was able to store our luggage. Our beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Bedding has been updated compared to pictures in Hotel description. The breakfast was very good. The staff was Great! Gabriela, Dana, Ian, and Adrien were all top notch! They provided excellent customer care! Will stay again when we return to Paris.

We are frequent visitors to Paris and do not expect large hotel rooms or magnificent views. We had stayed there before on several occasions but our most recent stay was not ideal. We were in a room at the back of the hotel, with a window that could not be opened, the air conditioning made the room feel very stuffy and both of us found ourselves with minor breathing issues. Only one pillow per person was provided and my request for a second was greeted positively but no extra pillow arrived. In fairness the breakfasts were good. There were two lights in our room that did not work, they had a low level flicker and there was insufficient natural light to be able to read etc. I reported this and all that was required was to replace the globes, this did not happen. The rooms had been remodelled since our previous stays but the quality and thought of the workmanship was not very good. There was no toilet roll holder, the rolls were simply stacked next to the sink with no provision for towel rails or anywhere convenient to hang a towel while showering. The shower door would not stay closed, in the event, I decided to say nothing and carried the necessary adjustment. The extractor fan was either not working at all or so slightly that it was impossible to tell. There was obviously a damp problem, there was mould in the shower recess and paint adjoining the en suite had bubbled due to moisture. The bed was not secured to the wall mounted headboard and if either of us tried to sit up in bed and lean against the wall, the bed would drift away making it a futile exercise. The welcome information stated that the hotel would organise a tax i for us to go to the airport, quoting a price of 70 euros which would be charged to my credit card. When we arrived at the airport our driver demanded to be paid ... it took several phone calls to resolve this issue which proved to be both embarrassing and stressful. We did not trouble to make a scene as our stay was for two nights only but I doubt that we will stay there again. Internet access was good. Our previous stays had been good and while we appreciated being able to leave our luggage the overall experience was disappointing.

Love the Hotel Perryve! Staff was very helpful and eager to help. They serve delicious breakfast for a minimal charge. You can also arrange shuttle service to and from the airport or train stations. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Jardin de Luxembourg was a block away. There’s restaurants and grocery stores very close to the hotel and bus stops and metro stations are just minutes away. Definitely would come back. Michael

The hotel has a decent breakfast, front desk staff was fantastic! the room I stayed on first floor was a bit noisy near the street level and it was very tiny even hard to move around for one person. The room was very clean. The best of this hotel is conveniently located for public transportation, near the Luxembourg Park which is the cherry on top on the cake! and near various subway stations, buses with no AC but most of the time on time, train station to and from the Airport. Overall a good hotel!
