Atelier Montparnasse Hôtel

Good location, but disappointing service The location is good. It is close to a Metro station and situated in a pleasant neighborhood with a classic Parisian atmosphere. Unfortunately, the hospitality and service were very disappointing. About one week before my arrival, the hotel emailed me offering early check-in for an additional fee, subject to availability. I replied to accept the offer. On the day of my arrival, I arrived at around 11:10 AM, but my room was not ready. A staff member explained that they only had three cleaners responsible for all the rooms. I understand that rooms need to be cleaned, but the staffing situation is not really the guest’s responsibility. If the hotel knew that it could not reliably accommodate early check-in requests, it would have been better not to actively offer this option in advance. What was even more disappointing was the lack of initiative from the reception staff. I went out for a while and returned at around 1 PM, then waited in the lobby. The receptionist saw me waiting but did not proactively check whether my room was ready. I eventually had to ask again at around 2 PM. Only then did he check and tell me that the room was ready. On the third day, we left around 8 AM and returned around 11 AM, the room had not been cleaned. I then placed the housekeeping request sign on the door. My husband was then resting in the room while I went out to attend my seminar. When I returned around 6 PM, I was surprised to find that the room still had not been cleaned. I called reception and was told that the room was not cleaned because someone was inside. This was confusing to me because I had specifically requested housekeeping and had not put up a “Do Not Disturb” sign. I also appreciate the hotel’s effort to reduce unnecessary towel washing. However, there was no convenient towel rack or hook in the bathroom where we could hang wet towels for reuse. This made the policy difficult to follow comfortably. I really liked the location and the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the service experience made the stay quite frustrating. Because of the repeated housekeeping and communication issues, I would personally choose another hotel next time.

I had a lovely stay at Hôtel Atelier Montparnasse. The hotel has a charming, modern atmosphere, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location in Montparnasse is convenient, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, shops, and public transport nearby. It’s a good base for exploring Paris while staying in a quieter neighbourhood. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay here again. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming hotel in Paris.

Travel alonw stay here very convenient easy acess and the best part near to metro

Spent 3 nights here. Here is my honest breakdown : Pros: Excellent location (very close to the station and restaurants) and friendly staff. Cons: The rooms are very small and tightly congested for couples. The breakfast has very limited options, and the overall hotel services are quite average.

Good location but there is not slippers and brush in the room Haha! Service was good! Reception guys are very cool.

Good location, nice room, comfortable bed There’s a bakery right opposite which is great (just too bad it was closed during my stay in August) Hardly slept as there were constant deliveries during the night (from linen at 12.30am to food and then the bin men at 5am) with staff shouting at each other to ‘communicate’ I’d avoid if you actually would like to sleep at night!
