Truly excelllent place to stay in one of the best locations in Paris. The concept of 1er Etage is a stay that feels like a cross between a hotel and an apartment. There are just 5 well-appointed, comfortable, and impecably clean rooms, with a small reception and breakfast area at its center. Friendly staff prepare and serve a nicely presented breakfast, with coffee and tea available in the kitchen throughout the day. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be returning on my next trip to Paris.

We had an Excellent time. the concept is great, the room was comfortable and beautiful, and the breakfast was terrific. the hosts were welcoming, and very helpful. The area is at the center of the Marais, a few min walk from the Metro. I highly recommend 1er Etage, we will go again.

Location is easily accessible to major landmarks with wide selection of restaurant choices. The room is cozy and warm just the street view is missing.

A really lovely boutique hotel, comfortable rooms, tea and coffee facilities at all times and very friendly staff member. Great location in central Paris, not far from Ile de Cite and only a 3 minute walk from the Pompidou Centre.

I could not have made a better choice for my solo trip! At a time when social media was flipping out about bedbugs (and some friends canceling trips), it was reassuring to have no carpet or rugs, and simple white bedding. And after 8 nights in a row - zero signs of bedbugs, of course. The location can't be beat, the staff is wonderfully friendly, and everything about the check in system was easy to use. Also, because it's hard to tell from photos, and some rooms can be uncomfortably tiny in central Paris, my room size felt generous - and it was the smaller room type.

A great experience in Paris. The concept is a winner. Central location, Comfortable room, great breakfast and excellent communication during the booking process and whilst staying. All at a very competitive rate and cheaper than a traditional hotel! ! What is not to like?

Great central location in the Marais, 4th arr. with a comfortable room en-suite & an excellent breakfast. Juliette provides little welcoming extras like caramels, cookies, filtered water & Self serve coffee or tea.

tha apartment is very confortable, it was clean and the bed and the shower are very good. The breakfast is delicious with croissants and baguette. The location is excellent , close to restaurants and bars.

Small pleasent hotel , 5 rooms , personal service , good breakfest , the kitchen is free to make coffe and refreshments. exelent location in the marais. Very clean, good bed and beddings. It is at the first floor without an elevetor , the stairs are curling. Old people have to be carefull. We enjoyed very much staying there for 4 nights
