Paris 14th arrondissement-Observatoire Hotels

Good plugs by each bed. Very , very tired ! Floors covered in hair, 5th floor for me and no lift and after long days walking or with heavy bags.... Pot luck. No towel offered, staff friendly, there is also a room to keep your bags once you've left even for up to 24 hours. Mattress comfortable but sheets were dirty also. No staff to tell at the time on reception and had a sheet which I used instead of as a duvet as the mattress cover and then my sleeping bag. Bathroom stank sadly, on the top floor, fann didn't work. Needs a lot of love but for the price in Paris... Meh. Lovely area to wander and well connected, a really cool vinyl bar near by easily findable on Google.

For the location it was very good value. We stayed one night. My double room was small but adequate for one person, comfortable and surprisingly quiet with very little street noise. Nice size shower, but I couldn't control the water temperature so had a luke warm shower. My friends had a family room to share with their 11yo and it was a generous sized room with a larger double bed and a lovely bed for junior, they also had a bath instead of a shower which is often useful when children are involved. The lift (elevator for you Americans) is a bit small & quirky and struggled to take two of us with luggage whilst two took the stairs but it worked. Paid street parking was available for us only 2min walk away, not cheap but acceptable considering location. Free between 8pm and 8am and I believe free Sunday/Bank holidays. I didn't realise Saturday was a bank holiday so thought I was paying through to 9.20am Saturday (from around 6pm Friday) but actually accidently paid through to 9.20am Monday, this cost €30 (£26/$35 as at Nov-25). I noticed an underground carpark only 7-8 minute walk away, but probably similar cost. Metro station 5-6 mins walk, several entrances but need to find main entrance to buy tickets. 25min ride to the Eiffel Tower. Didn't have breakfast at hotel so can't comment, went for a walk to get breakfast as I would normally recommend in Paris. Overall, I would stay here again at the same or similar cost. (On this occasion we paid; small double £68 + family room (for 2 adults + 11yo) £80 + city taxes £7.50 per adult paid at hotel)

The Hotel is amazing and recipiention staff was very friendly and nice , the room was very clean it is a bit small but that's all of France basically however it was very cozy and very clean the bed sheets were fresh and more important the parking garage was private, clean, smells good and safe and its very easy access 24/7 and everything was well maintained and the bathroom smells clean so the whole experience was just amazing

We had a wonderful 9-day stay at Drawing House, conveniently located near the Gaîté stop. The staff were among the loveliest we’ve met - warm, welcoming, and kind enough to offer us a complimentary early check-in after our long journey from Australia. The room itself was spacious; we suspect it may have been designed for accessibility, but regardless, the extra space was such a treat. A special shout-out to our cleaner, who was incredibly meticulous in tidying and cleaning our room. Even on the day we forgot to request housekeeping, she seemed to anticipate our needs and took care of everything. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed - merci beaucoup! There was nothing better than returning to a freshly made room after walking 20,000 steps through the Paris summer. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the music in the common areas to the clever soap “grinder” in the restroom and the lovely tea selection, all of which made the experience even more relaxing. Highly recommended - both the hotel itself and the wonderful people who make it feel like home.

The front desk service was very warm. We originally booked a suite for three people, but there was no door between the bedroom and the living room, which caused a bit of disturbance. We decided to add an extra room, and Xing Lei at the front desk proactively helped us with the arrangements. She even waived one person's breakfast fee upon checkout, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Notre Dame and the Louvre (not far, but Paris has many traffic lights and small road congestion). The cleanliness was excellent.

Beautiful hotel! Mainly for the decoration of animals. The people who work at the hotel are very friendly. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast. I'll be back! 🫶🏼🇧🇷

Generally the first impression when enter the room there was terrible smell inside. Immediately we needed tonopen window. We spend 2 days there during winter time. The room was cold at the beginning however there is a heater whoch you need to launch to increase room temperature. Actually room size is small, there was placed one double bed. When you open the door to bathroom you have no space to go around the bed. Bathroom cleanliness is on good level. Towels are available for you. Overal rate is medium. I would choose different hotel if could do again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed here for four nights and I want to sincerely thank all the hotel staff for making my stay so perfect. Every time I returned, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. A special mention goes to Santiago, who I often met in the mornings. He went above and beyond by greeting guests by name and remembering their coffee preferences. Service that felt truly five star. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was spacious and the bathroom cozy. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of pastries, fruit, cold cuts, cereals, eggs, cured meats, and of course, great coffee. It was a truly memorable stay thanks to the effort and hospitality of the entire team. I deeply appreciate everything they did to make me feel at home.

We were a little disappointed because there was work in the hotel to be reviewed once the work was finished, otherwise the service was very good, the cleanliness of the room was really very average, a shame because the bedding really is good.

Hotel itself was clean, well located walking distance to metro and local amenities- supermarkets, artisan Boulangerie etc. Rooms were clean except the safe in our room didn’t work - I pointed out to the manager of the hotel but she wasn’t really concerned as they got their bookings. Breakfast was good except ran out of basic stock like boiled eggs, hot food , fresh baguettes, one hour into service! Overall it was a good stay. But the hotel needs to make sure all safes in the rooms are in working order and breakfast is well stocked.
