Hotels near Kaouther Cours de Danse orientale in Paris

I was last week of October 2022 and my husband and I were enchanted. It is a very cosy hotel near the Plaza Clichy Metro and next to fast foods like Burger King and KFC, which we thank you since our flight was delayed and we arrived at almost 12 p.m. and was the only thing we found open to eat. The rooms are small but practical and modern. Breakfast was the best, it was the same every day but there was a lot of variety and it could be repeated every time you wanted: bread, toast, biscuits, natural orange juices, peanut and pepper, marmelade, cheese in varieties, jam, bacon, The hotel was very friendly and helpful and was guided by maps of how to reach the monuments and what lines of metro or bus to use. I recommend it 100%

Charming boutique hotel in a great location, larger than most rooms in Paris, friendly staff make the best recipe for the perfect Paris vacation. As advertised, the property is literally 5 mins walking from Pigalle station. There is also a bus (right recommended by the lady at the reception -Elena i think her name was?!) every few mins from the station that takes you across the city to stops close to important landmarks. The bus ride naturally takes longer given the Parisien traffic but if you are in no rush it's a great route to get around the city. The hotel is surrounded by many nice restaurants, bars and grocery stores if you want to run down for a bag of chips or bottle of wine too be relished in the comfort of the room. But be wary that some of the these place are open real late and can get loud sometimes on weekends if that's a concern. I was on the 4th floor and even though i was in a street facing room, the noise didn't quite effect much. Centrally located with Sacre-couer/Montmarte within walking distance on one side, as is the famous Moulin rouge right around the corner on the other side. word of caution, if you want to avoid all the sex-shops, you can conveniently walk the other side which has some lovely bakeries and shopping stores. I was given a room on the fourth floor with a street view just as requested and the room was exactly like shown in the pics. Bed was VERYY comfortable, washroom extremely clean and the room had the all basic amenities for a nice peaceful stay. Special thanks to Pablo, who was extremely charming, friendly, made the late night check out easy and convenient and also helped arrange a taxi at 2am within 10 mins of requesting it. Disliked · Pricey. but then that's Paris. the cooling wouldn't work as they had switched from ac to heat for the season. again that's just Paris! so the room would get a little stuffy. just a remark not a complaint really, cause I could open the windows to gorgeous view which made up for it.

I traveled solo with EF Go Ahead Tours so had my own room, a fabulous one on the ninth floor with a view of the Sacre Coure. Fridge was replenished with soda and juice, a water station outside breakfast area kept water bottle filled. Breakfast was great. Front desk staff was helpful, got a cab for me to go to the Louvre when my Uber drivers kept cancelling! Great location, walked to Moulin Rouge one night snd used Metro regularly, a pass was provided by your group. Our guide had a desk and whiteboard with info in lobby which made it easy to keep up with daily activities and bus departures to dinner and Fountainbleu. Room was extremely comfortable, usual amenities, TV, AC, blow dryer. A small table and chair near window made a great reading spot. As mentioned in countless reviews, there remains an issue with tub/shower leaking, glass doors are not mounted and water escapes. Small issue when you are visiting the City of Lights. It was my teacher retirement present to me and enjoyed every second. Would return in a heartbeat to this hotel! Bonjour!!

I don't expect large rooms when staying in Paris, especially not from a 3-star at this price point. But even a small room can be thoughtfully laid out to maximize space and make the room more comfortable for guests. Unfortunately that could not be said for this hotel. The room looked seedy and run down, close enough to the pictures to see how we fell for the trap and booked this hotel, but the carpet had stains and burns in it, the walls dirty and looking as if they hadn't been touched in years. There was one mirror in our room and it was in the bathroom, located on an angle so it made getting ready in the morning exceptionally difficult if you're trying to avoid that fun-house look. Further, the only plug in the bathroom was for the shaver. I've come to expect that in Europe (especially in UK and Ireland) but without any other mirrors, and no plugs even close to the bathroom door in the room, it made getting ready and doing one's hair exceptionally difficult. I recognize that not everyone uses a flat iron or curler, but for anyone who does - think again. You won't be able to do your hair here unless you're prepared to use your laptop/iPad/phone camera as your mirror. Speaking of plugs, there were hardly any in the room and they were located in terribly inconvenient spots. One was under the TV and desk, the other by the door to the room. So if charging your phone or devices, you won't have them near your bedside - something that is particularly vexing when you have to set an alarm and your phone is across the room. While this also may seem trivial, this compiled with the bad layout, fun house and angled mirror in the bathroom, lack of shower curtain in the bathroom, and general seediness of the room made our stay most frustrating. And to top it all off, my travel partner had an unfortunate experience in the elevator, where another guest of the hotel picked up someone in the neighbourhood, who then proceeded to caress my travelling companion. They had run out for water bottles and when he returned to our room, he told me about his uncomfortable encounter - something that just didn't make either of us fee particularly safe. This was also the only hotel I've stayed in over the last 5-10 years that did not even check my ID when we checked into the hotel. I simply gave my name and was issued a key. A silly detail but it just added to the overall run down and somewhat sleazy feel. The only benefit of this hotel was the location. Though close to place de clichy and pigalle, notoriously sleazier areas in Paris full of sex shops, it's also close to SoPi (south pigalle) which is a trendy neighbourhood, full of shops and restaurants. There are lots of restaurants near by and its only a 30 minute walk to the Louvre, rue de Rivoli, etc., with the grand magasins and multiple museums less than 20 minutes away. I have to believe that our room hadn't been refurbished and others in the hotel had, because otherwise I can't possibly understand the good reviews

Starting from when I didn't even get to the hotel: despite the fact that on Booking it says clearly that the check-in is possible until midnight, at 18:20 I receive a message from them asking when I expected to arrive. When I answered between 19 and 20 their reply was a (quite threatening) message saying that if I didn't show up they would have charged me the first night anyway. With a very ironic ”Welcom to Paris” following. Then I arrived at the check in desk and straight away the guy asked me if I was ok if he charged me all the nights I had to spend there, because my booking had the option to be reimbursed if I didn't show up from the second night because ”it's going to be easier on the paper”. I didn't even notice I had this option, anyway I (naively) agreed because obviously I didn't have any intention to run away. First night in the room it was ok-ish: the room was clean, but the furniture was clearly very cheap, the bed was screeching at every move and the hair dryier was getting too hot to hold in the hand after a couple of minutes of usage. The main problem was the street below though: it was super noisy until 4:30am, and with the heat of these days I couldn't keep the window closed - and there's no AC. But ok, this is not under their control. The big problem came the second night: I came back at around 3am and... there was noone at the desk to open the door of the hotel. I tried to ring multiple times at the doorbell and even called their phone number but noone showed up. I had to go around at 3am in the morning, looking for a place where to sleep because of that. When I went to complain later in the morning they said that the guardian was there all the time and that they didn't have any proof to believe what I was telling them. In the end I had to leave with just their word that the owner had been informed, that he would have checked the security camera recordings and that I would have been contacted. One week later I still have no news from them, so I called the hotel and discovered that noone was aware of anything, and if I didn't send an email there wouldn't have been any follow up. Weird that they didn't mention this when I was there. So I wrote the email and at first I was asked when I had this problem, confirming the fact that noone was aware of it. So I gave the details and they disappeared again. Three days later I write them again and their reply is ”the guardian told me that he was there all the time”. So I explained the problem again, even sending them the receipt of the other hotel I had to pay at 3.30am, and the reply was ”there is not enough proof for me to authorize any kind of refund”. And that was it. The fact that I had to go around at 3am to pay for an accommodation that I already payed to them is clearly not enough to put any doubt on the ”guardian word”. Conclusion: stay away from them, they just don't care at all about the service they give you - as long as they get your money it doesn't matter.

A very cost-effective hotel in Paris, all the staff are very warm and thoughtful, and provide a cot for children for free. Located in Montmartre, fifteen minutes walk from the Sacre Coeur Basilica. The Paris Strike Metro operates normally on Line 1, and stays for an average of ten kilometers a day for four days. When leaving, please ask the hotel to help you book a drop-off. The taxi driver's brother is also very caring. The traffic jam in the city is serious and it drove for more than an hour.

This is a great little hotel in a perfect location in Pigalle for the Moulin Rouge. I stayed with my sisters. The hotel was clean, felt safe and the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. There is a 24hour tea/coffee room which was useful. I would definitely recommend, it had a nice feel to it. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean rooms and very friendly housekeeping staff that is ready to help you straight away. We booked two single beds and got a one double bed eventually we has been helped and personal has fixed the bad issue for us immediately. Breakfast is not big but is have everything somebody needs. 200 meters away form hotel there is a street to try the local food. Amazing by the way. Also 2 min walk is Moulin Rouge fabulous show do recommend everyone to go there and see it yourself as it’s worth it. Not far from opera and Galleries Lafayette. In general even though the hotel is on a street with sex shops and other is nice place to stay.

Right in front of the Moulin Rouge Right in front of Blanche station Holy Land for Food friendly staff I've never seen such facilities in a hotel this big in Paris. If you've been to a hotel in Europe, you'll know that it's a good value for money hotel. Personally, it is located near the entertainment district, so there are rather many people It felt less risky. Breakfast in the morning is only bread, but it's okay because there are various types of bread. It was nice to be able to eat different kinds of fruits every morning 🙌🏻

Just returned from a lovely weekend at the Timhotel, Montmartre. Have used this hotel many times when in Paris but this is my first visit back in 7 years. Situated in a beautiful square with nearby restaurants and cafes and near to Sacre Coeur. The area was very busy being Easter weekend but nothing detracts from the splendour of the area. The bedroom was small, quite normal for the area, but functional. The bed was so comfortable, with quality pillows and bedding. Lovely en suite bathroom. We didn’t use the hotel for breakfast and tried different cafes where there was an average price of ten euros. The area, like most of Paris, isn’t cheap when it comes to food and drink but still very much worth the money just for the ambience and the sheer pleasure of being in Montmartre! I have to thank all of the hotel reception staff that we met on this visit - kind, helpful, every one. After a bit of a slog from Charles de Gaulle airport by train into Gare de Nord then taxi up to the hotel, we decided to opt for a taxi transfer on the way back and this was arranged by hotel reception without a problem. Well worth it in my opinion. In closing I would highly recommend the Timhotel and again thank the staff for a fabulous stay in Paris.
