Stayed for a week as a solo traveler. A delightful experience. Chateau Voltaire is obviously a creation of people that love beautifully crafted things and magic experiences. The basics are perfect, great service by people that really enjoy what they do. The restaurant is pitch perfect, basics perfectly executed. I can be picky about my martini and I was embarrassed with my perfectionist instructions, but the bar tender genuinely wanted to get it right. The other reviews here can cover the specifics but this hotel is truly your home away from home to recharge after a day in Paris. Do not forget to use the spa, it helped after a day of walking. Thank you Chateau Voltaire, you will see me again!

Every time I choose a hotel near Galeries Lafayette. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, newly renovated, a few minutes walk from Galeries Lafayette. The front desk is all handsome and beautiful, and the service is in place. The room is bright, clean and comfortable, I really don't like the dim lighting in some hotels in Paris. I like their outdoor restaurant, it should be Japanese style, it's amazing. Of course the hotel price is not cheap hahaha

Next to Concorde Square, shopping is very convenient. We arrived in Paris in the early morning. The hotel is good, check in early for us. The downside is that the hotel is a bit old and the rooms are a bit small. Adding 2,500 yuan per night to upgrade to the suite is much more comfortable and the view is good. Capitalist countries really have a penny for a dollar. Breakfast choices are not too small and are suitable for Orientals.

We stayed two nights as a Diamond member and this was my 2nd visit having tried it as one of the first guests before they officially opened to the public. From check in to checkout we were so impressed and felt so welcome. We got given an absolutely amazing upgrade to a lovely suite that was just perfect and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. The bed is heavenly and the bath tub too :). Thank you so much to all the staff there who made us feel so welcome and personal. The only slight negative i would say is their breakfast - it didn’t feel fitting for a hotel of this quality as there was not much buffet choice and the concept maybe needs rethinking. But let this not put you off the hotel is a gem. I also stayed in the Intercontintal le grand after this stay and the KIMPTON blew it away for me and most of all i felt comfortable here. Can’t wait to come back

I firstly want to thank the hotel as I had booked it two years before and had to keep canceling due to covid. They let me keep my booking and were so kind and helpful about it. The concierge was great and very helpful with great suggestions. They even helped me organize balloons for my daughter. The room was very nice. I did think it would be more of a vibe the hotel as per other reviews. The breakfast was good. I would stay here again as it is in a very convenient area near the louvre. The staff were most helpful. Just on the side the soap was amazing. But it’s made specifically for hotels of the same spa product so I couldn’t buy some.

The hotel is very new, beautifully decorated, stylish and reasonable, and the rooms are small but adequate. The toiletries in the room are L'Occitane, a capsule coffee machine and a kettle, slippers, no toothbrush and toothpaste, and a half bottle of champagne. The front desk service was especially good. When I left, I asked if I needed to bring a bottle of water to drink. In the afternoon, I also provided free tea. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Paris. Stay next time!

We usually pick hotels that have a great location. This hotel is in a fantastic location. In addition, the staff is extremely friendly! I have no complaints about the staff at all. The only reason I gave the hotel four stars is because of the rooms. The deluxe room is a great size, but some of the shampoo bottles weren't filled. There was also questionable stains on the chaise (oh dear). There was also a hole in the ceiling. When we went, the hotel did let us know there would be no hot water for a couple hours and that they were experiencing varying water temperatures (from cold to hot). However, these issues are not the end of the world. There will always be issues no matter where you go. The executive lounge at the top is great for night snacks that runs from 530 to 730. The lounge closes at 11 pm. There is a wide variety of seating and drinks. Definitely worth visiting also for nice views.

The French chain hotel Astoria I stayed at was personally better than Ibis. The price was about 800 including double breakfast, but it was worth 100 yuan in Paris to send 6 bottles of water and drinks every day, and the room was clean and tidy. This Astoria is within walking distance of the Galeries Lafayette Louvre, the accommodation is safe, and the surrounding subway is also convenient. The airport bus to the airport is just a few minutes away. The price/performance ratio is also super high. It is highly recommended !

Very nice, very Paris feel of a hotel. Super friendly staff and spotless cleaning! Booked the larger room that was available and it was very good size, can't imagine a lot of the hotels in Paris offers as much space. Very family friendly hotel in the sense of how we were treated, didn't feel for a second as traveling with a baby was an issue for them which the the rest of Paris kind of did. Christmas decoration in the lobby made it very very cute and welcoming and the location is perfect. Loved our stay

Staff, concierge, and services were great. It does have a small elevator, but its new and not meant for a football team. Breakfast had excellent coffee and choices to get going. The breakfast experience was pleasant, and started the day great. The room was clean and updated, good shower, linens, and there is a safe. Small, but we didn't intend on spending any time in the room. the location works great, small walk to subway (didn't use because of the strikes) small walk to the local train station, and Roissey bus which is also not bad to use. The bus was not running when we came in, so we took an overpriced cab. (don't do that). Very short walk if you average 3-4 miles a day like we did, to the Louvre, place de la Concorde, Orangerie, D'Orsay, and Isle de la Citie. (in another direction, Eiffel tower isn't far). Lots of dining nearby, ATM, groceries. Again, staff was helpful with our bad French, and it all worked out great.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel. While the room was small (common with European hotels), it was very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. The three-person room is just right for the children. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Louvre. There are big supermarkets around, there are McDonald's, there are many Japanese restaurants, Chinese food is also there, and the room is quiet, thanks to the elevator. I walked too tired during the day and didn't pay attention to the elevator noise at night. The front desk service is also very intimate, the only downside is that the carpet in the room is long and gray. First of all, the rooms are so small you will not be able to open your suitcase on the floor or anywhere else for that matter. We booked a room with AC and when we checked in, there was no functioning AC in the room. We contacted reception to change rooms, but we were told that was not possible and that no rooms has fcuntioning AC, and thatthey were waiting for someone to repair it. The receptionist was quite rude and did not apologize or explain why this info was not offered when we booked a few days before. He just sarcastically told us to open the windows. We said we would check out of the room the next morning to which he just said ”ok”. The next morning when we checked out we were told we could change to a different room, but we declined as we had already booked a new hotel. After we had left, we got an angry call from some manager who demanded we come back and get a new room. They were apparently lying when they said there were no other rooms with AC the day before, and the manager calling us kept insisting that they had never said that at all and that we had made up that there were no other rooms. She kept interrupting on the phone and refused to acknowledge that we were two people in the conversation with the receptionist the day beforewho both heard him say this, and even though she had not heard the conversation herself, she seemed to know better than anyone what had been said there. This really is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, both in terms of the quality of the room and the rude and unprofessional staff. I don't particularly enjoy getting lied to and then being accused of making things up, and I also don't enjoy trying to sleep in a tiny room that is boiling. We will not be back and we recommend no one else is either.
