YYuanwang·yuanwangThe guesthouse is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town, offering easy walking access to attractions like Dongxing Port, Fengqing Street, and the China-Vietnam Friendship Park. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient, with a wide array of amenities including restaurants, street food stalls, and wholesale markets. The rooftop terrace provides expansive views, where you can gaze across the Beilun River to Mong Cai, Vietnam. It offers excellent value for money, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. What truly sets this place apart is the owner's warm and genuine hospitality. He was incredibly helpful, proactively assisting with luggage and recommending delicious local food. His thoughtful and attentive service made us feel truly at home. A big thumbs up to him! 👍👍👍

WWudouyangdameiI came here with my boyfriend, dad, and mom. We booked two rooms and they thoughtfully put us on the same floor. There's an elevator, which is great for older folks who might have trouble with stairs. They also have their own parking lot near the entrance, which was very convenient. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Downstairs, there are several restaurants nearby; the Vietnamese fried snails place was really good. There's also a fruit store nearby where I bought some kumquats that were super sweet! I'm so happy! I'll definitely come back next time!

Beautiful place in nature in hills.
Host very friendly and can speak English.
Musical fountain with lights.
No food. Bring your own. Not problem for me as I always have food with me due to many allergies.
No tea.
Water only for 2 days, not for 3.
Wet bathroom.
Not enough toilet paper, only for 2 days.
Water in basin didn't soak away. Did report it.

Mmerusonthe hotel has a beautiful view of the city at the rooftop restaurant. you can go up to admire the view day and night. the buffet breakfast is simple yet nutritious. the hotel staff is efficient and helpful. i asked for chili and it was promptly given to me. the room is very cozy and has a good street view too. the only setback is the hotel is located quite a distance from the border gate and ***** transport. it will not be a problem if you have your own transport.

GGuest UserA young arrogant reception ( the one with glasses) refused to honour my booking, the advertised room with RIVERVIEW saying it was sold out and offering me a small room with no view. After calls to the owner she agreed to give me the room if I paid extra. After more discussion with her boss she relented after I threatened a poor review. This arguing took at least half an hour of stress and anxiety, the receptionist insisting my phone was the problem even though I showed her the screenshot of my booking confirmation. I went to reserve another night but had to agree to a higher price. I wanted to stay at least four nights but too stressful playing their game.

I stayed at GreenTree Eastern Hotel (Dongxing Border Gate) and found it to be a great value for money. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the border, making it an ideal stop for travelers crossing between China and Vietnam.
The facilities met expectations — clean, comfortable rooms with modern amenities. The cost-performance (CP) ratio is excellent, especially considering its location and service quality.
Do note that the surrounding area becomes quite quiet after 9pm, so it’s best to finish dinner or shopping a bit earlier. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay for anyone visiting the Dongxing border area.

BBastifantastiA beautiful apartment with a very large terrace. There were even two double beds and the apartment was definitely big enough for two or even four. Everything was very clean, and of course there were fresh towels and bed linen. The reception is in a shop on the ground floor. I was greeted very friendly and accompanied to my room. The whole process was very pleasant and I can recommend the apartment and the host.

TTanner0The price of the hotel is acceptable in terms of location. After all, the sea is right outside the door.
What is more difficult to accept is that there are many small bugs in the room, such as geckos, crickets, etc. Especially at night, crickets chirping in the room make it impossible to sleep. It is recommended that the store disinfect it regularly.
In addition, the processing restaurant next to the hotel is not very delicious, and there are not many dishes to order. It depends on personal taste!
Everything else is very good. It is very pleasant to enjoy the sea breeze in the small courtyard at night!

GGuest UserThe hotel is relatively old, and the hardware facilities are like those of a recruitment agency in the 1970s. The mattresses are relatively hard and there is no peculiar smell. It is convenient for travel and is close to the port, just a few minutes' walk away.
