Guests bought watermelon to share, and the owner took us to another guesthouse to pick apricots. In the evening, a friend of the owner gave us a free drive to the back mountains. The next day, because of Eid al-Adha, we couldn't get a ride, so the owner asked her friend to give me a ride to Yili. That friend is the owner of a guesthouse in Yuli. We chatted all the way, and she didn't charge me for the ride—it was truly touching. I had initially thought Huanghuang Village would be a very commercialized place, but I was surprised to find such a group of young people with vision, passion, and warmth. They all came here because they love Xinjiang, and I sincerely wish them success in realizing their life's value in this beautiful Huanghuang Village.
