GGuest UserAs someone who never writes reviews, I was so eager to leave a review after my first stay. I've stayed in many B&Bs, but this was the first time I encountered such a wonderful host and hostess. They were so thoughtful! We had such a wonderful chat! We stayed two nights and shared two drinks, and by the end of the stay, we felt like big brothers and sisters. 🥹🥹
The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, and the views were stunning! The hotel was incredibly clean and tidy, perfect for a relaxing escape from the city. You can order food in the courtyard, and the home-cooked food is absolutely delicious. I fell in love with authentic Kaihua cuisine! The best part of traveling is encountering unexpected surprises. For example, meeting the host and hostess on this trip, and even having dinner, drinks, and conversation together, was truly a truly fortunate opportunity for me!

GGuest UserThe room overlooks a beautiful rural landscape, with a jujube tree laden with fruit visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows, exuding a tranquil and serene atmosphere. At night, we saw a sky full of stars, the Milky Way, and even shooting stars. The village is quite rustic, and the sunset was beautiful. The only downside is the lack of restaurants in the village. There's a restaurant called Qianjiangyuan, but it's incredibly expensive. For example, a plate of perilla and cucumber costs over 60 yuan, and the taste is just average, a bit oily. The owner is very calculating, and the experience wasn't great. We also ate breakfast at the guesthouse there, which only included corn, noodles, vegetables, and soy milk—not very good.

There is not only the natural secret surrounding the mountains and rivers, but also the warmth and poetry carved by the owner, which makes people fall in love at first sight and forget to return.
📍 Great location, breathe with nature
Drinking House is located at the source of the Qianjiang River in Kaihua. You can see the green mountains when you push the window, and the sound of the stream is accompanied by sleep. The mist in the morning is like a fairyland, and the sunset in the evening is dyed red forest. Every frame is a healing picture without filters. It is only a short walk from the Gengong Buddha Kingdom and Qianjiangyuan Forest Park, which can not only enjoy the fun of avoiding the world, but also convenient to explore the scenery of western Zhejiang.

The homestay is based on logs, bluestones and white walls. It has both the simplicity and elegance of the Jiangnan courtyard and the modern simplicity and comfort. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, the floor-to-ceiling windows introduce the mountain view into the room, soak a pot of Kaihua Longding, watch the clouds and clouds, and the fatigue will dissipate instantly. Love the terrace of Linxi, listen to the wind and rain, enjoy tea and read, time seems to be stagnant here.

The private kitchen taken care of by the boss is a highlight! The ingredients are mostly taken from the local water fish, fresh and fishy, the green snails are spicy enough, and the local chicken stews burned by the firewood stove... The owner and his wife are warm and simple, and will recommend niche hiking routes, and even take you to the stream to fish; at night, the night talk around the stove, sharing the story and tea ceremony of Kaihua, making people feel at home. This warmth of ”home away from home” is far more precious than luxury facilities.

GGuest UserHighly recommend Kaihua Guxi Hotel! The location is excellent, close to the high-speed exit, super convenient travel, walking distance to the Phoenix Tower Scenic Area. The room is clean and tidy, spacious and bright, dry and wet separation bathroom + smart toilet, comfortable bedding, and the window is the beautiful scenery of the landscape. The service is warm and intimate, the breakfast is rich, and there are local specialty snacks. The underground parking lot is oversized, with charging piles, and parking is worry-free. The price is super high, business and travel are suitable, and I will stay here next time I come to Kaihua!
