TTze Hsiang RoyHad a challenge trying to decide which hotel to stay in Mianyang, understanding that it is a smaller city (compared to the first-tier ones) in China and lacking in international brands. Didn't help that the first local hotel we booked in Chengdu just prior to travelling to Mianyang was a boutique hotel that... could have been better. Eventually gave a miss to the listicle on Trip for the top 4-star hotels, but went for Vienna which was in the vicinity but with a high rating (not a 4-star hotel), mostly because it didn't have the noise complaints as compared to the other hotels nearer to the train station (there's ongoing public infrastructure works ongoing in that vicinity as well). We got lucky. Because Vienna is pretty great. The hotel still feels fairly new and we got the nice spacious rooms overlooking the river. And right at the doorstep was the Wanda Plaza. which meant food, shopping and play was a stone's throw away. There isn't much facilities on offer (it's positioned as a business hotel), but we knew what we signed up for, so all was good there. Breakfast was between 7am to 10.30am and its decent enough (just make sure to go in before 10am as they won't top up the trays after). In sum, Vienna is now a local brand that I'll think of for our next forays into different cities in China.

PPenghufanniI went to Mianyang for two days and chose this hotel. The location is very good. It is very close to the shopping center, food street, and attractions. Downstairs is Xinhua Wenxuan. The room facilities are complete and new, very smart, clean, and the space is very spacious. The windows are soundproofed. After drinking water in the room and asking for two more bottles at the front desk, the service attitude is very good. I will come to this place next time I come to Mianyang.

Ggeraldv45Very good facilities. The breakfast menu is delicious! A bit more communication regarding opening hour's of the Mianyang Airport would have been nice. Unfortunately when i checked out, i was not advised the airport would not open until 5am. I was at the airport 3 hour's before departure as requested. Being 4am....the place was deserted.... I highly recommend the taxi service as well as the local train system.

The vegetable market has a treasure cold dish. (Figure 4 The back door of the hotel goes straight to the end to find the store selling steamed buns next door. The boss is very young and beautiful, and there is a good-looking dimple) The food is super delicious, we said that we will eat on the highway the next day. The boss was afraid that the ingredients were not fresh. He sent us to the hotel at 5 o'clock in the morning the next morning. He also thoughtfully packed a large package of vegetarian dishes and greasy radishes. A large bag of vegetables was very, very cheap. I will definitely go to this hotel next time. I have to eat cold dishes. The boss of the cold dish makes me feel that the people of Mianyang are so warm and enthusiastic

GGuest UserFirst of all, the hotel is strategically located, convenient transportation, there is a river view nearby, you can walk. The rooms are spacious and bright, well equipped and clean. The service staff was warm and thoughtful and smiled. The handsome guy at the front desk took the initiative to help me carry my luggage, thank you very much. The breakfast is rich in variety, the ingredients are fresh, Mianyang special rice noodles and the local Sichuanese's favorite kimchi! The taste is very authentic! In addition, the layout of the hotel's public areas is also tasteful and the stay is very comfortable.

It is very pleasant whether it is a walk or a view of the scenery. The air is very fresh and there is no noise in the city at all. I feel very relaxed when I live in. What is more heartwarming is the enthusiasm of the boss, from check-in to departure, the whole process is particularly thoughtful. Take the initiative to help with the luggage, come back at night and smile and say hello to ask how the stay is, that kind of intimacy is like going to a friend's house, and the room change in the middle is also very straightforward.
