Mianyang Hotels with Parking

Had a challenge trying to decide which hotel to stay in Mianyang, understanding that it is a smaller city (compared to the first-tier ones) in China and lacking in international brands. Didn't help that the first local hotel we booked in Chengdu just prior to travelling to Mianyang was a boutique hotel that... could have been better. Eventually gave a miss to the listicle on Trip for the top 4-star hotels, but went for Vienna which was in the vicinity but with a high rating (not a 4-star hotel), mostly because it didn't have the noise complaints as compared to the other hotels nearer to the train station (there's ongoing public infrastructure works ongoing in that vicinity as well). We got lucky. Because Vienna is pretty great. The hotel still feels fairly new and we got the nice spacious rooms overlooking the river. And right at the doorstep was the Wanda Plaza. which meant food, shopping and play was a stone's throw away. There isn't much facilities on offer (it's positioned as a business hotel), but we knew what we signed up for, so all was good there. Breakfast was between 7am to 10.30am and its decent enough (just make sure to go in before 10am as they won't top up the trays after). In sum, Vienna is now a local brand that I'll think of for our next forays into different cities in China.

I went to Shanyuluo B&B in Jiangyou with my friends on the weekend. The overall feeling is: comfortable and relaxing, like finding a nest in the mountains. The decoration of the homestay is the kind of log wind, very warm. The outdoor landscape pool is the finishing touch. At night, the lights are a dozen, the water is reflected in the house, and the photos are beyond the film. We said the night before that we had to get up early to watch the sunrise, and the boss also specially prepared hot water and snacks for us, which was so sweet. 🥰🥰 And the most memorable thing about this trip is to watch the sunrise! At four o'clock in the morning, the boss drove us to the nearby observation deck. The mountain road here is a bit dark, but it is very safe to follow the boss. After waiting for about half an hour, the sky slowly brightened up. If I have a chance next time, I want to lie down for a few more days and watch the sunrise again.

Not only did I take the initiative to check in for me, but also reminded me to get a parking ticket and free mineral water when I checked out. This detail-oriented service really makes people feel very warm. Because it is a brand new hotel, the room facilities are very new, the cleaning is spotless, and the living is particularly safe. The room facilities are also very complete, there are some, the details are quite good. In addition, there is a gym and self-service laundry room on the 5th floor of the hotel, which is too friendly for friends who are on business trips or long stays. The location is also very good, there are shopping malls, pedestrian streets, parks, and it is very convenient to eat, drink, and walk. In short, whether it is hardware facilities or software services, it is impeccable, the price is super high, and I will choose here next time! Highly recommend it to everyone! 🌟

There are several shopping malls nearby, and Xinhua Bookstore and Daguanyuan are right next door, so there's plenty to do. Plus, it's very close to Majia Lane, a food paradise. Now, about the facilities: The hotel is new and very clean. Even though it's on the ninth floor, the water pressure in the shower is still excellent. Service: Excellent too. They reserved a parking space for us in advance. If we needed anything, we just asked on WeChat, and they were there for us.

Hotel location is very good, there is a street opposite. Free parking is available, breakfast is also included, breakfast has crisp and refreshing cucumbers, fried dumplings, etc., but also compared to the meal, the front desk lady is also very enthusiastic.

The room was clean, the breakfast was very rich, the style was many and delicious, and I would stay here next time. The experience was very good.

The hotel is located near Mianyang Railway Station, less than 500 meters away, which is very convenient. There are several snack shops nearby, making dining easy. The west wing has been renovated and an elevator was added later, so it's half a floor below the rooms. The cleanliness is good. However, I suggest not using vinegar to wipe the furniture; the smell is a bit strong, and there's no evidence that vinegar has a disinfecting effect. The toothbrush was a bit disappointing; the bristles fell out after one use. The service was excellent, and they responded quickly to any questions. The price is reasonable. Overall, a positive review!
