The room was clean and tidy, and the whole place was smart-controlled by Xiaodu. But those aren't the main points. The highlight is that the hotel owner also runs a distillery in Maotai Town. He very enthusiastically took our whole family, including the elderly and children, to visit his distillery to see the production process of酱香酒 (Jiangxiang-style liquor). He explained everything meticulously, which was incredibly eye-opening and educational for us. He also invited us to taste liquor and tea in his cellar, and there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything. So, our trip to Maotai Town was comfortable in terms of accommodation, reassuring in terms of drinks, and enjoyable overall. Highly, highly recommend it!

It is rare to be quiet in the downtown area, and the bedding is soft and relieves fatigue. The front desk is efficient and it is very easy to go out and stroll around the ancient town. The various signs in the lobby are very warm, the breakfast is rich in variety and the service attitude is very good. I suggest friends can live here in the future.

The owner of this 民宿 will never understand how grateful i was for her help. I came for 1 night and stayed for 3 due to a series of misfortunes. When i arrived i had forgot my passport in the previous city i stayed 200kms away. The owner calmly checked me in anyways and coordinated with my previous hotel to retrieve my passport. Later that day i got heatstroke and i fell down a flight of stairs really hurting my tailbone, the owner gave me medicine and checked up on me. My passport arrived in the morning and i was feeling a bit better. Then my phone got wet and broke. The Owner helped me find a shop to repair my phone and finally after 3 days, i was able to leave. Being a foreigner lost without passport or money or GPS is very scary. The owner helped keep me safe and calm. I’ll never ever forget her considerate and caring presence. Thank you forever!

The landscape can see a large building on the side of Maotai Town. The night view is beautiful, but a bit noisy. Not far from the Spring Festival, breakfast is included when ordering, but I only knew that breakfast was not open when I asked. There were two buckets of instant noodles and 4 bottles of mineral water in the room. This means that this top breakfast should be used? I don't understand this wave of operations too much. Health is generally good, but in the cold winter, there is no hot water in the bath. Fortunately, I tried the water. There was no hot water for 7 or 8 minutes. I can stop taking a bath.
