The stay was impeccable. The hotel, room, facilities, and service were excellent, with three particularly strong impressions:
1. The breakfast included everything I'd recommend.
Unfortunately, I was staying alone and didn't eat much. I was very grateful to the staff. The hotel noodles gave me a chance to try more dishes despite my small appetite.
2. The gym had well-equipped equipment and was well-maintained, making it a standout among the hotel gyms I've stayed in.
The dumbbell weights were well-balanced, perfect for step-by-step training. The pull-down machine was even more effective than pull-ups, surpassing the horizontal bar-style pull-down machines found in most gyms. I didn't take photos of the other equipment and facilities, so I won't describe them all. I only stayed one night, but I spent one and two hours in the gym. The two hours on the second morning were to work off an overindulgent breakfast.
3. Every staff member greeted me with a genuine smile.
This is something I've never experienced in any other hotel, including other Sheraton properties. I think the hotel has put a lot of effort into building a corporate culture and training and motivating its employees.
Finally, most hotels nowadays remind guests to leave five-star reviews, even providing specific text. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, and I generally do it. By comparison, adding WeChat feels natural and unforced. It's about winning repeat customers through service, not relying on fake reviews. Of course, there's nothing wrong with fake reviews, and I only copy and paste them after the overall impression is positive. But there's a significant difference between a positive impression and exceeding expectations; and there aren't any six-star reviews to choose from.
A few shortcomings: The hotel's elevator is very slow. One time, it was filled with garbage, which was quite embarrassing. I wonder if they're undergoing maintenance. The room still has a strong smell, especially in the wardrobe. The internet speed is also sometimes slow, and the minibar doesn't cool well. Opening the cabinet is a blast of hot air. These are a few minor points I hope will be addressed soon.
Thus, I'm writing this review to praise the service.
