This unique B&B on the Zhangbei Grassland Sky Road offers a dozen or so beautifully decorated and comfortable yurts, in addition to standard rooms. The owner was very kind. We called before our visit to discuss the area and its itinerary. He even reminded us to bring warm clothing, as the temperature swings dramatically between morning and evening. Since there weren't many tourists recently, we stayed in a courtyard with a private area. We could let our pets run freely on the lawn. There's also a hill behind the guesthouse where we could let our dogs roam freely and enjoy stunning views – I even witnessed the Tyndall effect! Each room has different amenities, like opening a blind box. The beds are huge, and the rooms are bright and airy. The host even brought us milk tea, and there were some Mongolian dairy products in the room. They also serve meals and can deliver them to our room. In short, I absolutely loved this guesthouse and highly recommend it! It was fantastic!

The Yurt was traditional, and comfortable. A nice large bed with soft linens. The adjoining bathroom was small, but adequate. The best part of our stay is the amazing host. He has this place open only three months of the year: High tourist season. He runs the place and is the chef for wonderful local~style delicacies. We quickly became friends. He upgraded us to two separate yurts. He gave us complimentary dishes. When we left, he drove us to the bus station in Zhangbei. Really Wonderful Experience.
