It is located in the center of the old town, making it convenient for sightseeing.
However, the town is paved with cobblestones, so moving a large carry-on was quite difficult.
The hotel staff were very helpful and I was able to process the check-in smoothly.
There were some minor issues, such as the door being hard to close, but the room seemed to have been renovated and was very clean.
There was no air conditioning, and the balcony was connected to the next room, so security is important.
We were given a room on the second floor (actually the third floor), and the view from the balcony was great. Having bread and coffee at the table outside was great.
I didn't have breakfast this time, but I would definitely like to have it next time I visit.

Due to limited check-in timing, we need to rush back to hotel to check-in, would be good be more flexible to allow us check-in and collect room key first for guest who arrive earlier. We booked queen bed, but was given 2 twin beds which is placed in one corner and another corner, reason from front desk is queen bed room is all taken-up..In that case what’s the purpose of guest room reservation with specific requirement. Glad that front desk is willing to change back the room we booked. No toiletries provided, overall room is clean and comfortable and location is great just opposite the HBF.

The room assigned to us by the Rothenburg Hotel is almost equivalent to the best location of this hotel. It is in the highest position among the rooms in the hotel. It has large floor-to-ceiling windows and a wide view. There are old houses nearby and undulating countryside in the distance. The room is very large and the bathroom is also very large. From the bathroom, the facilities may be a bit old. The huge bathtub even reminds me of the design of suites in some small places in China, but the invincible scenery outside the window clearly shows the exotic sentiment. The hotel is an old building, which is hundreds of years old. The keys are all old objects, heavy, simple, and special. Then the bar and restaurant downstairs are also scattered, but we went in the off-season, so there were not many people. The location of this hotel is also invincible. It is just below the tower of the city hall, next to the city hall square, next to the Christmas gift shop that is worth visiting, and there are all kinds of restaurants around. It is simply the best location. There is no parking lot. You can get on and off the luggage, but you have to park in a nearby parking lot. The machine pays the fee. Very close to Buyunlai, turn a corner and go right and go straight to the City Hall Square.
The room is good, but there is a smell when entering the door. The window is always open at night. Fortunately, there are no mosquitoes.
Facilities: No air conditioning, there is a small floor-to-ceiling fan that cannot turn its head

The breakfast is quite delicious. I must give it a thumbs up. Tables have been arranged for each room in advance. Parking is free, but the number is limited. It is about 700 meters away from the east gate. There is a gas station and a small supermarket next to it. There is a lidl about 500 meters away, which is quite good!

In fact, it was not, because it was very convenient to walk straight for a few minutes to St Jakob's Kirche and City Hall Square. Because it is on the edge of the city wall, it is very quiet. The breakfast dining area sees the endless river valley view, Very magnificent. The hotel's cellar Game Cellar still retains the decoration hundreds of years ago, and the hotel alone has been like walking into the time tunnel. Not to mention the facilities of the room, elegant, clean, large space, very comfortable. And the owner of the hotel, 85-year-old Mr. Otto, is very kind. YYeziPlease note that Figure 1 and Figure 2 are the photos of the main entrance of the hotel. If you just look at the pictures on Trip.com, you will be fooled. The pictures of the two wooden tendons displayed on Trip.com are an exhibition hall, not a picture of the hotel! The location of this hotel is not very good, on the edge of the city, but the service is very good, it is an inn opened by two brothers, I don't know why the online rating is so high, to be honest, I am a little disappointed. The room given was in Room 6 on the 3rd floor. There was no air conditioning and it was so hot. There was a mini fan in the whole room or it was very noisy. It was the kind of fan we disliked in the 1970s and 1980s. The only highlight of this hotel is that there is a back garden, breakfast can be very cool in the garden, but swarms of bees will come and grab jam. Be sure to lock the room door when you sleep, otherwise it will be opened by others. Later, I went around in the back garden and found that room 4 was air-conditioned, but our room was not. The last Tumuji room is an exhibition hall, not their hotel! The pictures hanging on Trip.com by their hotel are suspected of misleading consumers. It is recommended that Trip.com delete the pictures on their homepage after inspection.

Rothenburg is not big, but it takes more than a day to walk around the city walls, shop, eat and drink. It is recommended to stay for one night. This hotel has a good experience. Typical German wooden bar structure family hotel. The self-contained restaurant is very affordable, and there are not many breakfast varieties to meet the needs of satiety. Not far from the hotel’s own parking space, parking on the ground, I forgot how many euros a day, and paid together when checking out, but there was no valet parking. When we checked in, the front desk told us how to get to the parking lot and drove it by myself. The light beer brewed in the kitchen is very refreshing. This is not a Michelin restaurant. It was selected in the Michelin Guide many years ago. I need to explain it specifically. German speciality grilled pork knuckle, tonkatsu, herring, and French fries are all available on the menu. We stayed in a family room, two large and one small, two rooms, an extra bed for the child, very comfortable. High cost performance, recommended.

WWEIA very unforgettable stay experience. This is a hotel run by an old German couple at the gate of Rothenburg. The decoration of the hotel is full of warm German style. The old man is very enthusiastic and he keeps chatting with us. The accommodation is very warm and comfortable. It is not the tourist season. He specially prepared new bedding for our arrival. The room was clean and tidy. He reminded us that it is best to have breakfast after 8 o'clock the next day. The restaurant is warm and comfortable, with many of his personal collections and paintings, and the breakfast is very rich and delicious. The summer peak season is said to be full. Worth staying at a hotel, parking, and transportation are all convenient. Go through the gate and you will reach the castle.
