Picardy Hotels with Parking

The hotel is very well located, easily accessible with a nice, secure parking lot. The room was very comfortable, soundproofed, and well heated. I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed my meal. The staff is welcoming. I will most certainly return on my next visit to Amiens. I highly recommend it; excellent value for money.

The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal. It has an interesting history. The original chateau building was constructed in the early 20th century by the architect Guillaume Tronchet in the Louis XVI style. The chateau was originally built as a country residence for the aristocracy of the early 20th century, and the architecture still shows the features of the ”transition” - the classical austerity of the Louis XVI style is intertwined with the light eclecticism of the Belle Époque. The hotel is located in the Chantilly forest, which creates a sense of a secluded reserve surrounded by Nature . Despite the proximity of Paris (only about 40 km), the hotel remains a quiet refuge in the forest - a feeling of being in a country castle rather than just a hotel. The hotel has 109 rooms and suites, the interiors of which are inspired by the bionic environment, the equestrian traditions of the region and the subtleties of Chantilly lace . Many rooms have a view of the forest, and many have balconies or terraces. Unfortunately, there is a highway nearby, and the noise sometimes reaches the hotel. This disrupts the peaceful atmosphere. The chateau has two restaurants: L'Opera, located in the former music salon, and Le Stradivarius, which occupies the former library. The latter is quite small, and when there are many guests, it can become noisy. The restaurants offer dishes made with local ingredients, such as game, cheese from Picardy, and, of course, the famous ”à la Chantilly” cream. The cuisine is excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Parking was for free with plenty of space on the opposite side of the street right next to the park. The location was easy to find. Second door at the street. I love the convenience with the door codes via Mail. Made sure our check-in was quick, since we arrived after 12 am and we were really tired haha. The apartment is very clean and spacious, bed was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but it made a solid impression. The bathroom was great too and it has a rain shower head. The only downside was that the WiFi code didn't work. This probably just affected our room but still was an inconvenience.

I've stayed in this chain-branded hotel in many cities and countries, and offerings are pretty much across-the-board equal. Though this Amiens branch was much more expensive than other cities/countries, all offerings were the same. I found the standard double room to be much smaller than other cities, which was a surprise. No kettles were standard and I later found out I needed to ”pre-ask” for one in my room, I received one the second day, though I was told there were very few available, thus the need to reserve one. However, this wasn't stated anywhere on the branch's specific page. The room irself, again, was much smaller than other B&B Hotels I've stayed in. The shower was pretty much ridiculous, as it had a single setting and needs replacing with one that works -- the water from the showerhead did nothing but spray outwards in all directions, getting everywhere. I tried cleaning it and seeing if the tiny holes could be moved, but was unsuccessful. If it was for one night, it would've been tolerable -- I stayed four nights and trying to take a shower to actually wash one's body was nothing more than a chore. It was even difficult to wash one's face as the water shot out to all sides. I'm surprised that the room cleaners have never mentioned this to the managers. Perhaps they have, but there's not really any ”caring” or ”concern”? I don't know. The bar and restaurant were closed for the entire time I was there, with the exception of breakfast. The bar's ice machine was turned off so no ice was available -- thankfully, as it was quite hot for most of the time I was there, one receptionist turned it on and so I was able to have all the ice I wanted for my drinks. Thanks for that! There was a microwave available for guest use, which was also helpful as I found Amiens a bit spendy for eating and so bought most of my food from supermarkets. Had I not had a special members' rate for multiple days that included breakfast, I would not have spent extra money on that feature. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen the first two weekend mornings but the hot food was pretty dismal, but got better the next two days. Price-quality didn't match. Would I stay again here or recommend? Probably not. This is a large tourist city with many, many comparably priced hotels. I'm a big fan of the brand. but just not this specific branch.

For a 4-star hotel access to the building is not practical we are required to carry the baggage The area is very beautiful but the room access building makes more thought of hospital corridors with lift not working 😢 The room does not reflect a 4-star hotel at all Because the finishes leave to desire (cable that over,lamp,douche, fully HS gallant door)the TV is large but the bug channels the lights are not practical at all and when we take our shower we put it anywhere even attentionally , we tried to reduce the climate but we didn't feel any cold Shame because the domain is really beautiful and the swimming pool services as well as the extensive breakfast was at the date , bad

Great location on the (toll-free) route to Paris; it took me 1 hour and 40 minutes to get to Disneyland from the hotel. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is perfectly adequate for one night, and the price is unbeatable. Friendly check-in, everything was perfect – I would book again.

Worst and scary hotel we stayed in France. Very far from airport. Dark, dirty,people hanging around outside our room knocking on our door at 1am! Looked like migrants living there waiting for you to leave your room,then following downstairs When we complained to the receptionist who said no other rooms to switch to. She didn’t speak or try to understand English. She did call a taxi for us in the morning which charged us €30 to go to the train station! Should have been 5-10 €. I wouldn’t stay there if you paid me 100€. Police should look into this **** hole! Mike

I didn't realize Beauvais Airport closes overnight, so I had to find a last-minute place to stay. You can apparently get there by bus from Beauvais station, so the location isn't too bad, but at 10 PM from the airport, a taxi was our only option. The rooms don't have private bathrooms or toilets; instead, there were about three communal ones per floor, much like a hostel. However, all the staff were very kind and understood English.

Very close to the airport, five minutes walk to the airport, very suitable for a hotel to catch an early flight
