Amazing
GGuest UserLove this new hotel, recently opened Oct 2025 - super friendly & helpful staff. The breakfast spreads were amazing, they change the menu daily (local ones), made to order omelette station! The Jogya Sky Lounge were amazing, spent my 4 nights enjoying the live acoustic music, a great way to wind down your day after touring around town. Distance Walk to the Malioboro only 10 mins, just be careful with the traffic, pretty narrow street, had an accident when I arrived, they’re very attentive, Pak Afandhi assisted me, very grateful for the help - Thank You 🙏🏻
The first hotel I went that provide water cooler on each floor, very environmentally friendly so you can refill your water bottle. Welcome drink changes daily, found Wedang Uwuh is very good! 😊
Pool and gym a bit disappointed, wished they’re bigger.
BBy.SolivanYou can really see the volcano from the windows of the room. Pleasant polite staff. There is a parking lot. A strange smell of water in the shower. Mixed feelings, but it's not so bad for a one-night stand.
AAnonymous UserThe lobby is incredibly luxurious and impressive, but the rooms are just average in comparison. However, the service is truly exceptional. We had to check out early before breakfast, and when we mentioned it, they kindly prepared a packed breakfast for us. We were so touched! I would definitely love to stay here again.
WWineLover 305My experience at ARTOTEL Yogyakarta is truly impressive — the digital art installations at the reception area, well chosen art sculptures and paintings, the warm staff greetings, the scent, the atmosphere, the design, and the overall hospitality felt like a real piece of modern art. It sets very high standards for the ARTOTEL chain.
IinicalloI recently stayed at a hotel smack-dab in the middle of the tourist area, and wow, what a convenience! Everything was right at my doorstep, making it super easy to explore. The room itself was comfy, and I appreciated the clean and well-maintained facilities. It was the perfect basecamp for all my adventures. Honestly, if you're looking for a central spot, this kind of hotel is a solid choice.
GGuest UserHotel check in was a breeze. Staffs are very friendly and super helpful. Very affordable and cosy. Location of hotel is very good, close proximity to the main area of Maliboro. Walking distance to many amazing food and shopping. It was a great stay!
FFaizMF22Had a pleasant stay at Ayaartta. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And the room was clean, with housekeeping tidying up everyday without fail. As for the size, it was adequate, a normal sized room similar to other hotels.
I would say that all the staff (from the front desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant) were really courteous and helpful. It was service with a smile all day.
The hotel is situated on a very busy main street about 15 minutes walk from Malioboro Street. Getting around was very easy as Grab rides were readily available. I also noticed bus stops nearby which makes it convenient if you want to try the bus services.
Overall, it was more than worth the money paid. Dont expect too much though as this is not a luxury hotel.
GGuest UserAll the staff were incredibly friendly, right from the security guards who always opened the doors and helped carry our luggage to the car. When we first entered the room, it smelled a bit musty, but after a few minutes, the air quality improved significantly. The room was very spacious, even suitable for bringing children. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and the facilities were okay. It's close to Malioboro. However, there was no water heater kettle, and the TV wasn't working. These things should be checked before guests arrive. As for the swimming pool, I wouldn't recommend it; the water had too much chlorine, which made it very uncomfortable to swim in.
GGuest UserVery close to Yogyakarta train station and Malioboro.
Breakfast is good. The room is very tiny so no space for big luggages. The worst thing is the room doesn't have soundproofing so we can hear the train sound all night (& all day) and the street & vehicles noises outside. I stayed for 2 nights and as a light sleeper I could not sleep for the whole 2 nights due to the outside noises.
