А great stay in hotel Heritage! The room was wonderful with a nice modern interior. I really liked the french cosmetics L' óccitane that I had available in the bathroom - bodylotion, shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner. The breakfast was fantastic.I can recomend this hotel and because of his great location in the old town of Ljubljana.

BinglvchaThe city isn't very big, and the hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Parliament Square. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station. On the first night, we received complimentary welcome drinks from the bar. You need to use your room key to operate the elevator. The room isn't huge, but it has a small fridge. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, and the shower pressure and water volume were great. Breakfast was decent, though typical for Europe, with a limited selection of vegetables that weren't particularly tasty. There's a supermarket right downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping, and a larger one about 500 meters away. There's also a bus stop right outside, making transportation easy.

The hotel stay was generally pleasant, however the parking arrangement was inconvenient. On-site parking was very limited, and we were required to park our car at an alternative car park about a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. It would be helpful if parking availability could be improved or communicated more clearly in advance.

opalsky_22Amazing stay. Good location, near to bus station. Easy to walk to main areas of attractions. Breakfast was phenomenal and thoughtful to cater to vegans and different types of diets! Service staff were friendly and sweet and quick to respond to our requests for anything! Made our stay enjoyable. Have also stayed at the hotel opposite. But grand plaza is way better.

The hostel was warm and very spacious and it was nice to be able to cook.
There are basically bowls, pots, etc., and extra olive oil? It was nice to have salt pepper.
It's a clean and month-long accommodation !!

Especially worthy of collection, very amazing, all details are very good. In the central area of the city, everything is convenient; very close to the central bus station, it is easy to arrange city access; a restaurant with local Slovenian dishes on the main road from the hotel is very affordable and delicious. The breakfast prepared by the hotel staff is exquisite and varied. The room is a suite, convenient to use, quality, kitchen and direct drinking faucet. In short, especially recommended!

Great hotel - it’s a shame that the staff let it down.
Prior to our arrival, we contacted the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving after check-in had closed (at 10pm). They were very helpful and provided us with instructions to enter the property by ourselves using an app.
When we arrived, we managed to get into the lobby (using the app), but the room key we were given was different than the one we were told on the phone and email. As a result, we were unable to enter our assigned room.
Assuming that our room number had been changed, we tried the key in the door that matched the new number (as there were no staff or guests around, and no one was answering the phone or emails). It opened and revealed a couple, asleep, inside. Obviously, we were mortified that we had disturbed the hotel guests, and also terrified that we would have to sleep in the hotel lobby until check-in opened at 6am.
After about an hour of searching around the lobby for clues about who to contact, we knocked on some private doors. Thankfully, a man came out and used a master key to let us in. It was clear that we had woken him up (by this point it was 2am). Again, we were sorry to have done so, but were left with no choice.
After we had successfully entered our room, I sent an email to the front desk letting them know what had just happened and that we would like them to apologise (on our behalf) to the guests and staff we woke up. They never replied. In fact, every time we mentioned it, the staff member made excuses like “I wasn’t there so I don’t have anything to do with it” and “the guy who organised the late check-in was training so he made a mistake”. There was absolutely nothing in the way of an apology or compensation for the mix-up until we checked out and it was already too late. We would like the hotel to know that mistakes are bound to happen, so it is imperative that they have a back-up (emergency number or night staff) for guests who have been given the wrong room key.
In addition, since we had been travelling for a while, we were running out of clothes and needed to do a load of laundry. We followed the instructions for the housekeeping staff to collect our laundry but found that when we had returned to the hotel, the laundry had not been done and the room had not been made up. When we went downstairs to inform the staff of this, we were told “housekeeping doesn’t go back to rooms to clean them after you took off the do not disturb sign, I’ve worked in lots of hotels and this is always the policy”. This member of staff eventually helped us find an laundromat, but the contempt with which we were spoken to was unacceptable and uncaring of the fact that we, too, have plenty of experience in the hotel industry as customers. An apology would have sufficed.
Overall, it was a great hotel in a fantastic location. Just make sure you’re okay with passive aggressive communication before you book.

Thank you and I guess there can't be a more ideal location than Cha Cha rooms in Ljubljana to get anywhere around. Everything is like 5-10 minutes of walking distance including the bus station. The staff are very welcoming and I will definitely recommend this place. If you are looking for a quiet and decent location, then this is a wonderful choice.

Dmitry ENDOAmazing place to stay, close to the historical center of town.
There are many good places to see and eat along the embankment. You can also see the castle on top of the hill from many places around the area.
The room was comfy and clean, and the receptionists were polite and helpful too.

The service and front desk ladies were wonderful, helpful and accommodating. However, this is not a luxury hotel. The quality is more like a hostel. The bathroom had a sewage drain that smelled awful, made me nauseous and was very bad at night with windows closed and no AC. I had to turn sideways to squeeze into a tiny shower. The building is old and shows its years in wear, the carpet is stained from years of use. The people were lovely, the location excellent but the actual hotel is old and run down.
