It was lovely! I was concerned based on prior reviews, but we loved it! Bed is a little harder but for those who prefer firm it was excellent and I didn't mind it either. Super clean and lovely amenities. Breakfast is $12 if it doesn't come with your meal. A little out of the way but not bad if you're coming in during university events when downtown is swamped.
Meals are expensive but delicious. Pool & hot tub were great.
Staff was all SUPER nice!

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff changed towels without being asked. The price was very reasonable. We plan to stay again when visiting Cedar Falls.

The waffles for breakfast were good and I tried the scrambled eggs, which were not so good. They evidently sitting in the pan for a while and they were hard and not too tasty.
I tasted the gravy and that was ok.
I liked the orange juice and coffee and creamers choices too.
