Contra Costa County Hotels with Parking

The room is clean and tidy, that is, if you book for many days, you will not change the sheets and towels every day.

Very convenient location close to Sunvalley shopping mall, grocery stores (two Safeways), family entertainment like Six Flags Hurricane Water Park. Also saw the 4th of July parade in downtown Pleasant Hill. My only complaint is the hotel’s parking lot was re-paved for two days when we stayed. there were limited and no parking spaces on the premises so we had to park quite far from the hotel and walk back with luggage and groceries. We were charged US$10 per day to use the hotels parking lot but I felt we shouldn’t have been charged the two days we could not park our car at the hotel’s parking lot due to it being under construction and road was re-paved.

The hotel was specialized in health clubs and saunas, so it was better. Walnut Creek was a quiet neighborhood, so I was able to relax quietly. The interior was clean. However, it was a pity that the shelf in the bathroom was somewhat rusty.

There was an error on my reservations, I had selected a king size bed and I was given a two queen size beds. Both were the same charge of 149.00 dollars. I contacted trip.com to correct the error, I was told it was not possible. I contacted the hotel, they also said it wasn't possible. When I went to the hotel to check in, I explained to the check-in person that was there at the time, which happened to be a lady I cannot remember her name, my apologies. She was nice enough, and friendly enough to accommodate me in this mix-up. So thanks to her, I was able to enjoy my stay as always. I have never had a bad experience at this particular Hotel, which is the courtyard in Richmond Berkeley. So once again thank you to the hotel, for accommodating me in my situation. I initially had a hard time locating this Inn, Waze was directing me to a gas station and a restaurant when it was hidden in a corner! The should put up a sign or arrow pointer! Room is clean. I used a black light and saw no stains on my sheets which is a good thing! The best thing is the price for the room and the security. It is one step above a Motel 8 for sure! I stayed 4 nights and was expecting them to refresh the towels and linen on the 3rd day but it did not happen!

We love the location. Right across The Veranda and many other shops. The room assigned to us was spacious, clean and beautiful. Hotel staff are all nice, friendly, helpful and accommodating. We’ll definitely stay here again in our future visits.

Everything was about right, except the breakfast. The Clariion offered a variety of cereals, but no milk.for the cereal. The vast majority of cereal eaters add milk to this dish. Something minor and possibly a personal sensitivity is that a hotel was once traditionally supposed to be a home away from home and guest were to be welcomed as hosts would wanted guests. In my several contacts with the front desk, I was treated properly and competently but not welcomed, not with a smile and wishes that I enjoy the hotel. Doing what I'm suggesting wouldn't cost the Clarion anything, but it would likely make your guests more likely to return.

This will definitely be another place I will stay at again. It is in a nice area with lots of options for food and close to the gym where my basketball team I coach plays at.

Room smelled musty probably because of the old carpet. Lamps in the nightstand were dusty and the microwave had rust inside so we didn’t feel safe using it. Towels were too thin but everything else was ok. Location is good. If you’re picky with where you’re staying at I wouldn’t recommend it but for visiting a family and don’t have other choice then yes.
