Douglas County Hotels with Parking

The child has spring break and plans to go to Lake Tahoe for a holiday. Because of the dog, and the eldest daughter wants to have a room alone. Thousands of choices, chose this hotel. I felt a bit far from the Hunan shore of Taihao before arriving at the hotel. After arriving, I felt too good value. The hotel built in 1862 should be in the Qing Dynasty in China. The hotel is in a valley wetland and there are many water birds around. The internal facilities are quite new, the area is oversized, you can cook, and the family feels very comfortable. In the morning on the balcony to meet the sun, breathing fresh air, a cup of coffee, looking at the snowy mountains in the distance, really comfortable.

About an hour drive from the south gate of the park

The hotel was quite nice. Although it looked a bit dated from the outside, the inside was clean and tidy. There was a small shop on the first floor; I walked around but didn't understand anything and didn't linger. There was also a small convenience store/coffee bar where you could buy some food and drinks and sit for a while. Check-in was only at 4 pm, which was a bit late, and there was an extra charge for early check-in 😰. The hotel accommodations are in two buildings. The Sunset Tower might have been recently renovated, but the lower floors face the parking lot; I don't know how they avoided that. There's a swimming pool between the two buildings, not very big, but it looked quite pretty. However, I don't know why it wasn't open. I really wanted a view, and after talking to the front desk for a while, I was lucky enough to get one. Although the hallways were a bit dark and the rooms were a bit old, the view from the window made everything else unimportant 😇😄
