This lodge earns its fifth star for location alone. Staying at Wuksachi truly feels like being in the middle of the park. You wake up among towering pines and sequoias, and you’re just a short, scenic drive from the park’s icons. The convenience is unbeatable with a quick drive to General Sherman Tree.

Service is alright. Reception did the necessary work but no additional service offered. Breakfast is good among same tier hotels. Parking is easy and convenient, and the location is also not far from major roads. I understand US hotels no longer offer disposable amenities but it does make walking in the room awkward without a pair of slippers.

This place was clean. The garden area very nice we loved the ground and our front door and patio area . The rooms really need some updating although our beds slept nice . The Rooms could be updated The heating and air were combined with just one switch. We couldn’t adjust temp to our comfort . Friendly staff

The included hot breakfast is OK but very ”old-fashioned” standard hotel breakfast. It reminds me of staying in a hotel in the 90's. Rooms need better maintenance. The first room given to us with non-functioning AC. The 2nd room has a loud squeaky bathroom door that can wake people up at night.

Courteous, professional, friendly staff. Hotel lobby is very nice. The temperature of our room was perfect and very very clean room overall. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, one of the best mattresses to get a good night sleep. The reclining office chair and lounge chair with ottoman were very comfortable. Plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor pools are a bonus! Location is close to downtown Visalia and restaurants. Definitely will be staying there again.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the service felt smooth despite the crowds. Food options were varied and convenient. I’d definitely recommend arriving early to make the most of your day.
Totally worth the visit—had such a great time and would love to come back again!

JPDuckThis is an excellent place just outside Sequoia and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Great breakfast with bagels, waffles, fruit etc. The room was comfy and warm but we could hear our upstairs neighbour stomping and next door's TV. Although everyone seems to go to bed early so not a major problem. The laundry room is cheap (total of $3.50 for washer and dryer).
The negatives were no fresh towels with room keeping service and also the staff seemed a bit miserable, with the exception of Emily who was amazing! Shout out to Emily!!!

To be honest, this is a two-bedroom and one-lobby home... It can accommodate seven or eight people, two pairs of two rooms, two couches in the living room, and how many carpets can be... Just at the entrance of the national park! There are also several restaurants nearby.
