Great
GGuest UserI usually love staying at this hotel but on this trip I had lots of trouble. Special events took up all parking spaces and I had to park off property after cruising for 30 minutes with no space available. The pool area was having a rock music beach party until 11 pm on the night I was departing and needed to wake at 5:30 am for my flight. No staff warned me of this late night party that created serious noise in the tower I was in that faced the pool. Hotel front desk offered ear plugs but no apology or offer to change rooms. To add insult to injury I asked for a wake up call that never happened. Luckily I had my phone to wake me although I got very little sleep.
GGuest UserQuite new hotel, relatively normal Hyatt Place room, average breakfast. Close to the highway, it's best to ask the front desk for a room on the inside, otherwise it's quite noisy.
GGuest UserThe hotel room is large and the sanitary conditions are very good. The parking lot is enough to stop at will. Breakfast is a typical British American breakfast and you can eat. The front desk service was very good. I didn't pay attention to pulling the credit card in the suitcase on the first day of check-in. I didn't let the card be swiped. I let the check-in first. Overall hotel is good!
JJIKEJust beside the small river, cross the bridge and walk more than 200 meters along the river to the car museum to see the various cars carefully collected by the casino owner. A dedicated parking garage is available for free parking. The stopover from Yellowstone Park to Yosemite is not bad. Reno is the second largest city in Nevada and has many casinos.
TTaxiongBecause I was going to Lake Tahoe the next day, I wanted to live on the edge of Lake Tahoe, but I didn't want to have a very expensive room on weekends. I came from the direction of Larson Volcano and simply chose the hotel in Reno, so that the next day from the east to the most beautiful sand harbor Lake Tahoe, you can still park early, and the same is true. Breakfast is extremely simple, equal to no. The room is clean and has kitchenware, which can be purchased and processed in the supermarket.
JJeffrey GrimmRoom was nice but really small for $227.00 for one night. Upon arriving and getting a first floor room found that the outside window to the parking lot was open and could have easily allowed someone to come in. Maintenance fixed it but it was a little disconcerting. Everything else was fine and the morning buffet was very good. There was an additional charge on my credit card for $22.00 that wasn't explained and that was irritating. I would stay there again however as the inconveniences mentioned weren't disqualifying.
Customer service at the counter and from housekeeping were very good.
MMorganMelissaWe came up for Hot August Nights, because they do have a dedicated parking area for show participants. We do appreciate that! In the parking garage, there were several spots of urine that were there for the duration of our four days. Maybe the pressure wash that once in a while? Wait for rain?
At check-in, the front desk lady seemed to hate her life or job or being friendly in general. Her responses were short and rude. The room had a nice view of the pool area and it was a pretty view at night. But, to see the view you have to wrestle with two sets of curtains which was tough. I had to stand in the chair and grab the curtains from the top to move them. The beds were comfortable, so that's a plus. The bathroom was outdated, the shower head hits you in the chest, but would be perfect height for a 4'8” child. The shower curtain rod was coming off the wall on one side, I did let the front desk guy know at checkout. Restaurants were great, lots of choices between the three ”resorts” in the Row. There was a small in room fridge to put our leftovers in, and drinks. Their is a Keurig coffee pot, if you want cream in your coffee you'll want to call and ask for more!
Overall, this was an ok stay for what we needed. But, for a grand for 3 nights I think we will be staying somewhere else next year, where we know everything has been upgraded.
EExpatI have stayed here before, and it is convenient based on where my son lives. For food, I suggest Rosie’s in the ****** or across the street to Chuy’s Mexican and Great Basin Brewery. The pool and gym are nice with views. I stayed on the side of the train yard this time, which was pretty cool (not disruptive). Hanging out in the lobby is fine if not ********. Seems many regulars go here. So many summer events on the schedule nearby. Attended the Dragon Lights near UNR (really pretty park), and explored the Wild Waterpark. Uber was easy, but convenirnce stores require a ride. Very scenic drive to Virginia City. Thx for upgrade.
GGuest UserThe place was clean and the room was clean also.
Unlike some of the reviews I read there were no signs of any kind of smoke on the 8th floor.
I did not see anyone begging until I was leaving.
Overall My stay served its purpose without any issues.
挥挥着翅膀的小熊猫Breakfast can be eaten, a regular continental breakfast. Service is OK, the restaurant can use the microwave oven, drive to Walmart in 5 minutes, and 15 minutes to the main street arch of Reno.
