Lusaka Hotels with Parking

Didn’t realise before booking that this is a Chinese-operated hotel aimed I would imagine at hosting the local Chinese workforce. All TV channels were in Chinese, breakfast was Chinese food, coffee machine instructions were in Chinese. However, the staff were all Zambian and extremely helpful. Supposed to be a no-smoking hotel but it smelled strongly of cigarettes in our corridor. Bathroom kept smelling like a ‘wet dog’. No facilities in the hotel but luckily a great bar and restaurant next door.

Good service attitude, cleanliness, the only downside is that the elevator often has problems, and you need to take the stairs with your luggage when you live in a high-rise building. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

The environment and atmosphere are quite nice; many foreign tourists visit. It's located in the city center, within walking distance of the largest shopping mall, and has convenient transportation and easy access to taxis. The courtyard itself has a beautiful landscape.

I had a great stay! The host was very kind and even offered complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, which I really appreciated. The host made breakfast himself and was delicious and a lovely touch. Overall, everything was comfortable, and the hospitality was excellent. I would definitely stay here again!

Great pool with friendly staff. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Internet was patchy.

Everything is great except the cockroaches in the room.

The Taj as usual didn't disappoint. It's a great venue with all the facilities that you could want. Great value when compared to other venues that don't have the range of facilities and service that you get there. Definitely top of the list when in Lusaka!

Great location and very hospitable staff. Literally in the center of most activities.

I booked a twin room, but the room I received was different from the photos I saw when I booked. The staff and the lodge owner were friendly, but there were no outlets next to the bed or nearby, so I had to use the single outlet at the bathroom entrance. There was an air conditioner and refrigerator, but they didn't work. So, I had to sleep with a fan on a far-off outlet in the heat. Also, I was excited because breakfast was included and room service was available, but the breakfast they brought me at 9 a.m. was just black tea, a piece of fried chicken on dry bread without any jam or butter, lol.
