Enjoying the view of marina bay especially during National day, i could see fireworks from my room. Overall my stay was great!

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had a fantastic, pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the bathroom was especially beautiful and we loved the bathtub! The garden-themed furnishings added a charming touch that we really appreciated. There was also a complimentary birthday cake delivered by the staff as well, which we appreciate :) 

We had requested a room with a nice view and were pleased to be given a high-floor room (Level 14) overlooking the Padang which was a lovely touch.

One small point of feedback: we noticed that the toiletries provided (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner) were manufactured in 2022. It would be great if these could be refreshed to ensure the best guest experience.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would be happy to return.

The room offered excellent value for money. Coincidentally, it was the National Day holiday, and while we wanted an extra bed, none were available. However, they kindly provided two extra duvets, so we used the sofa as a bed, and housekeeping even helped us tidy it up the next day. We were so impressed when, after leaving for the airport, we realized we'd left our iPad in the room. They promptly confirmed it was still there, and we were able to have a friend pick it up for us. Big thanks to the housekeeping staff and the front desk! I also really enjoyed the breakfast, which had a great mix of Western and Southeast Asian options.

An excellent family getaway with great facilities and genuine warmth from the staff. The pools, indoor waterpark and beachfront areas kept the kids entertained, and the hotel’s cleanliness was truly commendable with spotless rooms, tidy corridors and pleasantly scented bathrooms. The only drawback is the crowd during peak seasons when many public visitors are allowed onto the beach for barbecues or dog walks, leaving limited space for in-house guests. Poolside loungers are often occupied by people who do not swim, making it difficult for parents to sit close by and supervise their children. Breakfast can also be challenging when it rains as the queue stretches up to the lobby with a wait of about thirty minutes. Despite this, Parkroyal remains a beautiful resort with excellent family-friendly amenities, and with better crowd and guest management it has the potential to deliver the premium experience its name deserves.

We went on a 3 days 2 nights business trip with family in Penang. This hotel is located at Gurney bay which is such a very good location. We personally familiar with the surrounding there so it is easy to find food and travel.

The parking building can be accessed both from Gurney bay and Kelawai road which is very convenient.

Free parking is available in the building.
The parking space in front of the hotel charges 10 RM per entry.

We got a connecting room which is so comfortable for us. The hotel staff were very nice also.

Pros: The room is fully equipped with universal power outlets.

Cons: The shower is located in bathtub. It is quite slippery and inconvenient.

Overall, We had a very pleasant stay.
