Scenic! That piece of beach is said to have geoducks, but after digging a few times, there is no harvest... Maybe our level is not good. The downstairs restaurant has a small shed and dinner can be reserved.

We chose the Bayside Resort in Parksville due to its oceanfront location and facilities, and were not disappointed. Though an older property, it has been recently and tastefully refreshed. The staff were welcoming, and we had an excellent room on the top floor with the breathtaking ocean views. There must have been at least half a dozen bald eagles constantly flying by. The beds were comfortable, and the balcony was amazing, equipped with great chairs. The restaurant was good, however closed too early - as many things do in Parksville. The pool was nice, however a pity it no longer has a roof to keep things warm. I would definitely look to stay here again when in the area.

Fabulous weekend, excellent facilities, great service. Ocean views are world class. Cedars Rest was excellent. Extended us several nice 'extras' because it was our anniversary. Quiet, peaceful setting on the ocean, fabulous beach.

Fresh renovations give a positive impression when you enter the room with microwave, sink, fridge, WIFI and relaxing views. The true value of any accommodation is the people that provide services to their guests, everyone at The Coast goes out of their way to make your stay a positive one. I would like to recognize Jufer, the gentlemen at the front desk, always has a pleasant smile, frequently asks if you require anything and an “Enjoy your Day, Sir”! I look forward to staying at the Coast Parksville Hotel again.

The Sea Edge is right on the beach, steps away from everything you need, and the view is UNREAL. You can’t get a better location for the price. The staff was accommodating, Eileen was amazing. This will be our go-to Parksville motel going forward.

We were delighted with this motel. Beds were comfortable and the room felt spacious. Very clean. Staff were very kind and caring. We had to cut our trip short due to an ill relative. We forgot our Iphone charger. Without any extra charge ( only the cost of mailing the package) they sent us the charger. Thanks so much for your kindness.
