Overall, great experience! The hotel looks better in pictures than in real life. It looks fine in real life, but the pictures are exaggerated a bit. When we arrived, we had some questions about our room reservation. Hotel management resolved our questions and provided a great service. Outside garden was a nice place for a breakfast.

Villa Ammende is such a pretty historic property, a short walk into town or to the beach. My room was comfortable and relaxing, and breakfast was delicious. (Look for the wedding gown on the main floor - there's a story behind it.) Wish I could have stayed more than one night!

Stayed here as a feature stay on our Intrepid Tour. A heritage listed, old main building with lots of character but thus with stairs and design features that make an overnight stay a bit more challenging. We were able to get a garden view room not in the main building; but it was then 100 m away across rough cobbles. The floor heating in our bathroom was too hot at 29 C and we could not turn it down or just off. Staff were very obliging. Breakfast was al a carte and was pleasing. A 5-10 min walk to the beach and similar to the old town.

This hotel is a grand old manor house. The rooms are large and the furnishings are antiques. The staff is great, the breakfast nice and it was a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is a historical, gorgeous, well-maintained hotel. We had a large room with a roomy sunporch. The bedding was very soft and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining room is a lovely place to fine, as well. The location is wonderful - located in a park with both the beach and the little downtown a very short walk away.

If I say that this was the 12th time we visit Villa Ammende that should give you some indication of how we rate this hotel. Good service as usual and our room was in top condition. We had room #5, which has a nice summer veranda with big windows. It is like being outdoors, when you are inside. Breakfast was even better than before although it has been very good during our previous visits. Only thing that drops the rating is the lack of electric car charging. They had it before and still there are signs guiding to it plus a note of it in the web. I had to spend over an hour to find a place, where to charge and pay for it. At Ammende it had been complementary. As other nearby hotels have charging available Ammende should reconsider putting it back.

Villa Ammende was a wonderful stop on our trip to Estonian. The art deco hotel is fascinating in design. Our room was terrific, including having our own sauna. The restaurant was another highlight both for dinner and breakfast. All the people working in the hotel were very pleasant helpful and occasionally funny. We hope to stay here again.
