El Interior de Gaia ★★★
Hotel Granda ★★★★
"Good location, very clean, good breakfast."
Los Acebos Arriondas ★★★
"The rooms are quality, they are clean! But the walls are more fragile than my soul 🤸🏾♂️ The food is very questionable 😭😭 the vegetarians get lettuce in a tube, and the others meat as if there were no TOMORROW 😡 although the pasta yum yum. The normal service. The bathrooms are accessible and useful 🥰. And the location is not bad, although the town does not give very good vibes sometimes 🗣️🔥"
Imperion ★★★★
Puebloastur Eco Resort Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"I spent a weekend at the end of June in this wonderful place as part of my trip to Asturias. It is a small, 30-35 room, designer boutique hotel surrounded by picturesque hills. I drove there from the ocean in about 30 minutes. I was greeted by very friendly staff who spoke excellent English. The general manager of the hotel personally welcomed me and told me about the hotel. Since I was traveling alone, I took the cheapest room, and it was wonderful. With a panoramic view of the Picos de Europa. The room had everything you would expect from an uncompromising five star hotel. The hotel had an outdoor heated pool, a full spa with a bunch of different underwater massages, a sauna and a Turkish hammam. The hammam was a bit of a disappointment. For my taste, the steam temperature could have been higher. Overall, it can be said that this is the only hotel of this level in Asturias at the moment. If you like Salvador Dalí, you'll find his original 9-meter-tall sculpture in this hotel!"
Puente Romano ★★
"A terrible hotel in every sense, which we "liked" so much that we had a reservation for two nights, August 28th and 29th, and we left right after the first night, on Thursday morning. The result: one night in a miserable room for €180 (without breakfast), as the price was €90 per night. I made a mistake when booking, which I admit. On other occasions, we've booked at the "Imperion" hotel (right next to the Roman Bridge in Cangas de Onís), sleeping in a specific room, which we like. When I made the reservation, intending to book at the same hotel, foolish me, I saw the Hotel Puente Romano on the website where we booked, when I looked in Cangas de Onís, looking for the usual hotel, with an image of a red building, practically identical to the Hotel Imperion. I booked there, with the problem that I was misled by the hotel's name and proximity to the Puente Romano (the Hotel Imperion is closer to it). Now I see that confusion, as it happened to me, is very easy. The address of both hotels, which both told us "we're the same," is C/ Puente Romano, s/n., both 45 meters from each other. When I made the reservation, I left a note saying: "Good morning. Would it be possible, if available, for us to be assigned the room on the first floor, which is on the corner and has a small terrace...? Thank you very much in advance, and see you Wednesday." The hotel responded immediately: "Good afternoon. We will consider your request and try to assign you a room with similar characteristics if possible. Best regards." In light of my message, they should have responded that they believed there was a confusion, as they don't have the rooms I was requesting. When we arrived at "our" hotel, the Imperion, where we thought we had booked, around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, we discovered we didn't have a reservation there, and they sent us to the Puente Romano Hotel. There, they gave us the key to room 205, on the second floor (not the first floor, as I had requested), obviously without a terrace, as they don't have any rooms with terraces. It was a tiny, ugly, old room, with no room to even leave an open suitcase, and it wasn't cleaned. Aside from the bed, there was a small armchair for the two of us and a small table occupied by a small television that couldn't be heard or seen properly. Instead of the requested terrace, the room didn't even have a window; it had a real "small window." I had to leave my suitcase on the windowsill so I could open it. It was incredibly hot in the room, but... Eureka! I had a very noisy Spanish-style floor-standing fan from the 1970s to solve the problem, which made it impossible to sleep because of the noise, just like the noise coming from outside. There were quite a few hairs in the ugly and impractical half-bathtub."
Hotel Casona del Sella ★★★
"Love the hotel, I have stayed many times alone and with my son, very nice pet friendly hotel. We took excursions to Covadonga and close villages. I really enjoyed the hotel and the owner’s."
