Villa Republik
Clandestino Beach ★★★
Hotel Playa Bejuco ★★★
"The hotel is perfectly located directly at the beach. We enjoyed very much the air conditioning in the room, as outside was very, very hot and humid. The receptionists were very helpful - the young man let us use his personal charger and the woman let us check in a bit earlier than the regular time. Breakfast staff was very friendly, too. The rooms were quite big and very clean, but the bed was not comfortable. I would recommend the hotel further. Thank you!"
Alma del Pacifico Hotel & Spa ★★★★
Sunset del Mar Beach Resort ★★★★
"I advise for rest but only by car to rent what to move"
Hotel Costa Pacifica ★★★
"A real place to spend time with your family, the best service and food. Beaches are super close, affordable prices to come with pets for a whole weekend. Very professional service with an excellent menu. We had a health emergency and found a clinic and pharmacy very close. We recommend them 100%."
Cocomar Beachfront Hotel and Island Resort ★★★
Marenaz Hotel ★★★
"We had our wedding at Marenaz and it was more than we ever imagined! The hotel’s location is unbeatable and its staff - Aamal, Michael, Wendy, and colleagues - went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. From the wonderfully appointed rooms to the varied and delicious menu, we had an unforgettable experience. Our entire guest list is already planning another visit! Thank you Marenaz crew for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!"
La Dolce Vita ★★
"Small but functional apartment, new bathroom and fixtures, good sleep quality even with the small bed, kitchen a little dated but with everything you need. Excellent cleanliness and kind and helpful owners, tiny but functional and well-kept swimming pool and then the beach is outside the gate..."

Encantada Ocean Cottages
"Really great stay at Esterillos Ocean Cottages. An excellent resort (I'd score it a 3-star to 3-1/2 star resort) on the beach. Staff was great with our kids and was always quick to make sure we had information on excursions, checking to see if we needed dinner reservations, etc. Pics are accurate, pool is crystal clear and the entire resort was spotless. Overall a great value, less than $200 a night (rainy season) and the restaurant was excellent (included breakfast is a great value-add). TIPS: 1. We are used to booking our own excursions (photographer, surf lessons, etc.) We could've saved some money by simply having Kyrstin the concierge do it, she has deals with all the locals. 2. Recommend having $300-400 in local currency for a 1-week visit, most (but not all) places take credit cards and US dollars, but locals are WELL AWARE of the weak US dollar (as of Aug 2026), so you'll pay a premium on top. 3. Excursions booked through Encantada: Surf lessons - Alfredo was amazing with our kids (8 & 6!). Manuel Antonio Park - Pay for a guide, you'll never spot all the wildlife on your own (Ask for Felix) 4. Tres Piscinas Waterfall - MUST SEE (Ask for Roger). 5. Get a babysitter so you can have a night out in Jaco (Young woman named Saleh was SO COOL with our boys)."
Beautiful beachfront home with a private pool in between Jaco & Manuel Antonio.
Pacific Ocean-Front Villa de Azul. stunning Sunrises & Sunsets, 3bd 2 full baths
