Richmonde Hotel Ortigas

The smell when you step out of the elevator going to the rooms will remind you of wood and antique. 😅 Don’t expect 5 star quality in the amenities because this hotel isn’t new but im still giving 5star for the price i paid for. I stayed in Richmonde Eastwood before so I expected more on the breakfast buffet especially on a Sunday morning. I was a little disappointed there but overall experience is satisfactory. Oh the pillows are too soft for my liking.
The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel Manila

Coming from a business trip with my husband. We were dead tired and so we were expecting that our stay with be stress-free. I could think of a lot reasons not to recommend this hotel, il just give the horrible ones based on my perspective: 1. Upon reaching the room, key was not working so we have to go down to reactivate. Waited long just for this. 2. Upon entering the room we were welcomed by Cockroaches! Little and big ones! Some we were able to kill, but we're not that fast so most of them ran away and went to the bathroom's drainage. 3. Hair dryer not working. Room too dark. 4. We asked the receptionist if we could be transferred to another room... started calling them 3:30pm... im telling you... im doing this review while waiting for their action...time check...4:23pm now and we're still waiting!!!! 5. No sense of urgency! Guests are tired..wanted to shower and rest but we cant because we are waiting and waiting...and waiting... I mean... decide. Thats why some people would just resort to go for airbnb! Hotels like this.. suck!
Holiday Inn Manila Galleria, an IHG Hotel

We enjoyed our stay and the main bonus is being connected to the mall where you will find a wide range of food and the food court is superb. Some of the rooms look like they were built 30 years ago but after complaining we got moved twice and the last time we got a room on the renovated floor but we had to have a twin bed despite booking a king room
The Linden Suites
4.3/540 Reviews
I celebrated my 28th birthday at Linden Suites Ortigas. My boyfriend and I choose this place because they have a bigger place so that we can invite our friends. We did the right thing. I booked the 2 bedroom premier good for 4 adults and 2 children. They allowed to accept visitors max of 15 guest until 10pm. Suprisingly the room can accommodate 15 guest plus me and my boyfriend. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. However, There's a few things we noticed are the air conditioned in the masters bedroom is very noisy and also the window you can't enjoy the view outside because it's like tinted or having a dark window. The lights in the room is not do bright I think they used the yellow color instead. The set up for bathrobe and the slippers are good for two pax only and we are 4 in the room. That the things we suggest that they needs to fix but everything else was good and we really enjoyed staying in this hotel specially my mom. If we have special occasions or if we wanted to relax. We will definitely go back here.

Astoria Plaza
4.5/563 Reviews
We stayed in Astoria Plaza for over a month. We made our reservation well ahead of time and made a deposit (e-transfer) 10% of the total cost of our stay, plus extra cost for the early check-in. Upon checked in about 5:00 a.m., I was surprised when the front desk staff asked us when are we going to settle our account. I said “can’t you see on our reservation that we made a deposit w/c was equivalent to 11 days stay”? We were told that there was no room available yet on the higher floor so in the meantime we were given a room on a lower floor and promised that we will be moved on the higher floor in 2 days. I also asked if we are entitled for a free breakfast that morning, he said No because the cost for early check-in does not include breakfast. Anyway, once we were in our room the phone rang and he said Yes we can have free breakfast at the Astoria Cafe. We found the room on the lower floor was alright so we didn’t bother to be moved on the higher room. We have stayed in Astoria Plaza several times, and we know some staff who have been working there for 10 years or more. We accidentally broke a glass in the bathroom and we asked for replacement but was charged (pesos) to our account. However, the replacement glass was not delivered soon, until the day I talked to the housekeeping guy. I have seen blood or urine stains on the bedsheets. For our long stay in Astoria Plaza, we thought we could get a free transfer to the airport. Unfortunately, we don’t get that benefit so we settled for a grab taxi that was large enough for our 4 luggages and 2 carry-ones. Overall, our over a month stay in Astoria Plaza was pleasant. Our special thanks to Jinky Ching, Mac, Joy, Honey, Diane, Claire, Gella and all the staff in the cafeteria, for looking after us in the morning. 👏 Thank you to the concierge staff, for the free shuttle services to and from MegaMall/Shangrila.👏
