No parking 😢 booked 3days 2nights, paid almost 800php for parking place is old but tidy breakfast buffet food 7/10 friendly staff

Family friendly hotel, been here few times.

Wide space, but very few amenities. No toothbrush, no bath soap. Plates, spoon and fork you can use is a little bit dirty. But the location and service is good.

My room selection was very spacious and it was great to see that I had a huge refrigerator and an entire kitchen area to myself, giving me the choice to cook for myself as all the necessary utensils were provided; this was similar to an Airbnb offer. The swimming pool area was quiet and beautiful, I had it all to myself. However, my problem was that customer service at the front desk offered poor service and had a nonchalant behavior ie my flight was late afternoon & I asked if I could stay for an extra 2hrs because check out was at 12pm and I didn't mind paying the fee based on a time basis but then she stated that I have to pay a full half day fee which is 12hrs fee which was ridiculous so I declined. Went down to the lobby and waited there for the 2hrs after which I asked if I could use the restroom then I was told it was out of use. Can you imagine that after spending so many days and money at the hotel but was refused to their restroom upon leaving.

Room is spaces but towers are too hard. new WIFI system need voucher to connect not really convenient. service at breakfast lounge was fast and friendly.

I have stayed in the Malayan Plaza many times before and the experiences WERE great, but in my recent stay, there are changes already. Maybe because the bldg was new before when I stayed. Bad smell as you walk along the alley of 10th floor where my room at. Also bad smell is diffusing in the basement parking. Food is no longer great and many this time. One thing hasn’t changed, the accommodating staff.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were helpful. Check-in was smooth. A few minor improvements could be made, but nothing that affected our comfort. Good value for money and a solid choice for travelers.

Make sure to have the things that was posted, like the Baby Cot, untensils etc..

Apart from the location and spacious room, the stay was not comfortable. Aircon is noisy, tv had to be replaced, shower head is old and bad, the bed was not comfortable, a lingering smell of smoke/cigarette in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was incredibly bad. Try other hotels nearby, they may be better.

Good location but room furniture are old and towels are not clean

This is by far one of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed at in the philippines. The staff are great but the hotel has zero upkeep and it shows. There was a lot of hair on our bed and yellow stains. The lounge chair is worn out and dirty. The lamp shades were super dirty and hung on by tape. The tile we're coming up off the floor. It's very unbelievable how bad these rooms are. The lobby and pictures make the rooms look nice, but please stay at a different hotel as this is below a one-star hotel. They also mentioned free parking, and then when we arrived, they charged us an extra 400php per day for parking. Total scam as there was a bunch of open parking slots. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. They need major renovations to bring this hotel into the 21st century. Please choose a different hotel.

Good location but furniture in the room quite aging.

The front desk staff especially the ladies are not the good one to be at the front desk
