"Convenient transportation, suitable for business travel"
Hotel Schloss Ort ★★★★
"I stayed at Hotel Schloss Ort prior to a cruise in the winter. It was a gorgeous hotel! So beautiful to stay in and with friendly staff. There isn't much space for a car, which was not an issue for me. The view was absolutely stunning. I did have breakfast at the hotel, which was an additional cost. It was mainly cold cuts, bread rolls, eggs, cereal, yoghurt, and cheeses. It was convenient as other restaurants were about a 20-minute walk away. There was a nice steakhouse nearby and a pizza shop not too far away. It does have an elevator as well, which was helpful for the luggage. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The only improvement would be a kettle in the room, but I believe tea and coffee could be had downstairs in the dining room."
Holiday Inn - the niu, FLUX PASSAU by IHG ★★★
"A good hotel , bus stop just outside which made the journey into the town and back very easy. Personally , the only down side was that you could not open a window and had to rely on air-conditioning."
Premier Inn Passau Weisser Hase ★★★
"Excellent central location, very nice staff, clean large room, extra head kit for selection."
Dormero Express Hotel Passau ★★★
"The room is a terrible little place - there's no space even for luggage. The elevator is terrifying + there's coffee, but you have to ask at the reception because there isn't any."
Hotel König ★★★★
"We chose the König because of its excellent location, by the river Danube and in the old town. Absolutely thrilled with our choice, a traditional, characterful and warm hotel. Our room overlooked the river and felt homely and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and all amenities provided. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast caters for a good range of tastes and food is fresh and well presented. The reception staff were very helpful in obtaining taxis and assisting in the case of a lost passport. Passau itself is a beautiful little town, full of atmosphere and a joy to visit."
B&B HOTEL Passau-Süd ★★★
"Kinda nice hotel"
Baronhaus Aparthotel & Suites ★★★
B&B Hotel Passau-West ★★
"Very poor, it smells, location is great"

Hotel Kühbacher
"The hotel has a good location. The historic building has been tastefully modernised."
Hotel Dreiflüssehof
"Spent an enjoyable weekend for 2 in a nice 4 star hotel. It was a toss of the coin between this hotel and one more into the city centre and honestly we didn't regret it. The hotel is traditionally Bavarian styled but discreetly modern, e.g. the lift was tactile rather than old style buttons. Check-in, and check out was quick and efficient and the room (#106) was spacious, if initially cold. The bathroom was nice, well equipped with plenty of towels (the radiator for towels big and quickly warm). There were also complementary products and the only default we could find in the whole room was with the complementary de-makeup pads. According to my wife they had been used (by the previous occupants) and hadn't been checked by the room service. The room had a minibar which I always like to see, even if I don't use it every time. The wlan bandwidth was reasonably good although we didn't try to stream a video. The restaurant is typically Bavarian style and I would qualify it as more convivial than gastronomical with a lot of pork but also some nice dishes such as salmon or their king sized prawn dishes. Service was quick and efficient and well, you sometimes have to take the individualistic style of the service personnel as part of the show, you like it or you don't but that when you have to remember you are not in a business hotel but somewhere very regionally orientated. We particularly like the decoration in the restaurant. A lot of nice glassware, regional pottery and other such artifacts. Breakfast was very good and at 4 Euro per person, very well worth it. The bread was fresh, there were lots of home-made products, it doesn't need a sign to tell you that, you can taste the difference. The only fault I could find with the eating experience were the canteen style paper serviettes. They brought the whole eating experience down a notch. All in all, a very enjoyable enjoyable, one we will replicate"
Am Paulusbogen
"we stayed at this hotel the night before boarding a Danube river cruise boat. The hotel is centrally located in Passau and within easy walking distance to the train station and all the old city. The hotel room was good but not luxurious - nice bathroom. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful [stored our bags for the day until the late boarding time]. The hotel restaurant was very good and the outdoor patio overlooked the castle and the Danube. the only problem was the lower level rooms didn't have good Wifi so you had to go to the restaurant to connect."
Apparthotel Rivers Passau
"Very comfortable, big size room"
