Chanthima Resort

Room 402 is very old and run down. The bathroom door was broken, the bedsheets were torn, and the TV was ancient. The main door was incredibly noisy when opened, and the sink faucet sprayed water like a fire hose.

The owner keeps the place really clean, it's perfect for backpackers, and the beach is right outside the door.

The room felt really outdated, more like a rented apartment turned into a hotel. For the price, it definitely wasn't good value for money. There was no hairdryer in the room; I had to ask the staff to borrow one. Everything in the room was old. We were a party of four, but they only provided two pillows and two towels. Honestly, they could do without a TV since it wasn't working anyway. The mattress was hard, and the pillows were extremely high. When we came back to the room to shower, there was no water – we couldn't use the bathroom at all. The water only came back on in the early morning, so we had to go to another bathroom elsewhere, which was quite scary. I definitely won't be staying here again. Thank you.

The room was average, but the air conditioning was perfectly cool, which I really liked.

This is an older establishment, which is understandable given its age, but the service is excellent. There might be a few minor hiccups, but the owner handles them well and resolves any issues. Overall, I like the location because it's right by the sea and very quiet and peaceful.
