Elia ★★★
"This was such a delightful stay. Athena the host is equally delightful. She picked us up at Midnight from the ferry even though it is a 5 minute walk that would be complicated at 12am. The Greek breakfast is fresh and good. The rooms are very clean and lovely. We could see the sunset and ocean from our double doors and balcony. The location has been perfect. We have traveled the whole island. We leave tonight at 10pm and the owners are allowing us to keep our room. I will definitely be back. This island is such a peaceful island. Beaches are beautiful as are the holy sights"
Skala Hotel ★★★
"We recharge our batteries every year at the Hotel Skala on Patmos. We have found the hotel to be a perfect platform to enjoy all the the island has to offer. The hotel's ideal location, near the lively port yet stepped back through a peaceful bougainvilla garden with sea water pool, is a key to enjoy the real Patmos paradise of blue sky and transparent water, white roofs and endless beaches with spectacular sunsets. Add a wide choice of good food and activities ranging from its legendary monastery to its late night clubs up the hill at Chora. We find the Skala Hotel's friendly and efficientg staff to be a special plus , from the first day welcome throughout the stay. Rooms are comfortable, and impeccably clean. The daily breakfast buffet is generous and a true delight to start the day on the calm terrace. We stayed for two weeks this summer and we aim to add a third week next year!"
Golden Sun Hotel Patmos ★★★
"Very good price per value Hotel. We had a renewed room with partial view on the amazing Grikos Bay. Big Room with big bathroom (double washbasin very practical) and basic forniture, but we had all what we needed. Good buffet breakfast with terrace on the Bay. The wasps outside were very annoying, but you can choose to stay in the breakfast room inside. Andrianna and Irina at the reception were always kind and helpful and gave us plenty of suggestions during our stay. Peaceful Hotel in a great position at walking distance to Petra Beach. Due to the location there is a lot of stairs, so definitely not suitable for disabled people."
Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"If I could choose one hotel to take with me to stay in on a beach holiday anywhere in the world it would be Patmos Aktis. Super location, completely renovated and excellent food but it’s the wonderful staff that seal the deal. Each and every member of staff is so friendly, helpful, happy and professional. The hotel building is two stories high and has about 60 bedrooms which makes so easy to get around and so quiet. Well done to everyone who looked after us at the end of a long busy season for them and never once failed in their duty. The island of Patmos is nothing short of heavenly."
Silver Beach ★★
"Bad experience not recommended. Overpriced 2star “hotel” as it is advertised on the site but we were extremely disappointed to find out that Silver Beach is not a hotel but a two floor building with rooms only. Our booking was for just two nights on June 14-16 not a peak season but it was overpriced and a big disappointment. Charge for two nights in a very small double room for 478€ BB plus local tax. No one around to assist or receive any complains. The rooms are beachfront located at “Grikos” next to a big unit under the same Management. However, No front desk Not a sign with the building’s name, difficult to reach and find it Check in at a different location Poor facilities of the room were not up to standards Very small bathroom A small veranda for breakfast venue, 4-5 tables without chairs enough for everyone Very poor variety and quality food for the amount we were charged. We had breakfast on a couch and a small coffee table (we were instructed to wait or come back later). Noisy at night, slamming on the doors every time we left room Mosquitos everywhere, how to avoid mosquitos still unknown to the unit. We regret our staying … There are plenty of nice hotels and rooms around at this beautiful island of Aegean Sea. Find one and enjoy Patmos."
Latmos 1860 ★★★
"Latmos 1860 was an amazing spot. Very cozy, very clean, and the perfect place to come back to after a long day of exploring."
Byzance Hotel ★★
"Great location, clean, new bathrooms, great bed. Host was very pleasant and all the breakfast staff. Reasonable price for value."
Patmos Eye Boutique Hotel & Villas ★★★★
"Outstanding stay, so grateful for everything."
Panorama Serenity Suites ★★★★

Nicolas Studios
"We had an incredible stay at Patmos and the Nicolas studios. My husband and I last visited Patmos 29 years ago and we had fond memories of Meloi beach so wanted to stay close to there but also in walking distance of skala. The location of the studios was ideal, a short walk to Meloi and about 10 min walk to town. The studio was really comfortable and we had a lovely view of the sea. Nicolas and his family were so kind. Nicolas picked us up and dropped us off at the port. We had watermelon and water when we arrived. Cake appeared in our room that evening. It was my husbands birthday while there and they left a beer for us. On our last eve Nicolas dropped off some cheese and grapes for us. He helped us arrange e-bikes and was always offering lifts (although we enjoy walking places). We were thrilled that although Patmos has changed it was still the special place that we remembered from our Youth. We had some fantastic meals and there are some lovely bars. We walked up to Chora via the old donkey path, which is hard work but worth it. The highlight was the e-bikes, we got to see areas of the island we hadn’t seen before and the most incredible views. We had a very special stay, which was made all the more special by Nicolas and his family. We’ll go back to Patmos (and not leave it 29 years next time!), and wouldn’t hesitate to book Nicolas studios. P.s Meloi beach is quiet, no sunbeds, but that’s it’s charm….laid back and shade from trees."
Eirini Luxury Hotel Villas
"The cottages were traditional in style, with very comfortable beds and super quiet efficient air con. Views you can’t beat, especially watching the stars over the sea from your terrace in the evening. You do need a car because there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance. We were disappointed that the bar and restaurant were both closed as we really wanted to stay somewhere with those facilities. However, the kitchen worked fine and we self catered some nights which was lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, coming every day to clean and refresh bedding. We left some bank cards behind which the owner very kindly posted securely back to us. We would definitely recommend Eirinis, particularly for couples. Thank you for having us and we hope to see you again soon!"
Patmos Paradise Hotel
"My wife and I stayed at Patmos Paradise for 10 days in June. The hotel is in a splendid panoramic location with a unique view of the Gulf of Kampos. Everything was perfect: the welcome from manager Dimitris, the kindness of all the staff, the excellent breakfast, the spotless rooms with daily linen changes, the super comfortable beds and air conditioning... This stay will remain in our hearts, and we will definitely return... hoping nothing will change!"
Onar Patmos
"Absolutely lovely spot, with amazing views from all houses. Quiet too. We used the reliable and inexpensive bus - from Grigos. Walkable from our house 20 mins, but some might find it too much. We got a map of the island and a bus time table from the village. The taxi service was not metered to and from Skala/Chora - very variable! Very good tavernas and restaurants near by, you do not need a car for these. Our house was adequately furnished, if going with kids fine for the Greek dais level in the second room. The small beach (Plaki) beneath the houses was fair, there are others nicer, and a fair number of naturists. (Petra Beach and Grigos both OK). The pebbles were slimy so you need beach shoes too. Psili Amos beach has lovely waves and a decent taverna, you will need to walk to it. But well worth it. Beach 30/20 split between naturists encampment and those wearing costumes. It was the end of the season so the house showed its tired points. It is on the high side for accommodation so was expecting better toiletries too. Over all we enjoyed our stay, but would go earlier on in the year for the warmer water and air temperature as the north wind took the heat out of the pool and sea. The Monastery and Cave of the Evangelist are well worth a visit, only 3 euros a head. Amazing seeing the skulls and the fabrics and the manuscripts. You don't need a guide as all info in Greek or English."
