Meliá Pattaya Hotel

They upgraded our room upon check-in. The hotel service was excellent, and the pool was very photogenic. It's conveniently located, not too far from the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby.

The service was great! Many foreigners were sunbathing by the pool, and my kids had a blast. When I called for a blanket, they knew I had children and proactively brought extra sheets to make up the sofa bed for us. They were very polite, and all the Thai staff, including housekeeping and delivery, always took off their shoes when entering the room – very friendly. The price is quite reasonable. The hotel is a straight walk to the beach, and it's just a 10 Baht ride on a songthaew to Terminal 21 mall. Plus, 7-Eleven and Chinatown are not far away.

The service was quite good, and some of the staff even spoke a bit of Chinese. This is a brand new hotel with super modern facilities, opened in 2025. The decor is stylish and contemporary, and the rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable bedding. The bathroom has good water pressure and stable hot water. The Instagram-famous pool and the 12th-floor rooftop restaurant offer incredible sunset views – perfect for photos. Its strengths are also its weaknesses: it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. It's a 10-minute walk to Pattaya Beach, and about 2 km to Terminal 21 and Central Pattaya. Being off the main street means it's quiet at night with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was abundant and high quality, featuring a wide selection of Chinese, Western, and Thai dishes, plus fresh fruit. Breakfast is served until 11 AM, which is great for late risers. You can also order a floating afternoon tea at the pool bar, truly enhancing the vacation vibe.

I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel! It's new, spacious, and the service is excellent. The decor is beautiful, and the location is super convenient – just a 5-minute walk to the night market and 20 minutes to the Tiffany Show. Plus, the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend trying their Den restaurant; the food is outstanding, and guests even get a 15% discount. We had our New Year's Eve dinner there and it was fantastic. Just a heads-up, the pool hours are from 7 am to 7 pm, which we unfortunately missed.

The breakfast was the most satisfying part – a wide variety of options, plenty of food, and everything was clean. The facilities were great too. The only downside is that the room felt a bit small for a 5-star hotel. The service from the front desk and the conference room sales team was inconsistent, which led to an issue with our room type. We eventually had to get Trip.com involved to sort it out.
