On the first day, they gave me a room with thin walls. I could hear all my neighbors' conversations. The built-in air conditioner was really loud. I walked barefoot and my feet turned black. There was also a sewage smell. The next day, they moved me to a different room, and everything was fine there.

Excellent location. The room was comfortable, but showing its age (stained walls, worn furniture, no hooks for towels or clothes in the bathroom). The outlets didn't hold plugs well. The water in the glass bottles had a stale smell. There was no kettle. The bed (mattress and pillows) was comfortable, and the linen was clean and changed once a week. Housekeeping was good, but sometimes the room wasn't cleaned, or sometimes it wasn't cleaned but the bed was made. The TV channel quality was poor. The pool was clean, but the jacuzzi wasn't working. The grounds were well-maintained. For breakfast, there was a good selection of Thai dishes, adapted for Europeans (not spicy and without sauces), which in my opinion made them less tasty. There were no separate Thai spices or sauces. For fruit, only pineapple and watermelon were available, which were brought out infrequently and in small quantities. There were also vegetable platters. The staff were kind and helpful. There are free safes at the reception. Despite the mentioned drawbacks, I was comfortable.

The hotel is located on the second street, which is very convenient for getting around the city. Breakfast is included and it's decent; picky eaters will always find something to eat. Personally, I had no complaints. The hotel primarily caters to Indian guests, who make up about 80% of the clientele, but I experienced no inconvenience from this. The deep swimming pool is excellent and almost always empty. The only downsides for us were the room's furnishings – there wasn't much space for clothes and only one chair for two people. I would suggest adding a bit more furniture in this regard. The staff is friendly. I'd give it a solid four stars.

Disappointing Stay – Not Suitable for Couples or Families We stayed at Welcome Plaza Hotel Pattaya and were quite disappointed with the overall experience. While the room itself was spacious and came with a balcony, that’s where the positives end. The breakfast was served in the lobby instead of the restaurant (which was closed), and the quality was very poor. We found dirty glasses at the breakfast table and even dirty towels in our room, which was unacceptable. The environment was also not suitable for couples or families. Most of the guests appeared to be large groups of laborers, some behaving inappropriately in common areas – including loud shouting at night, unclean attire during breakfast (like wearing lungis), and generally creating a disruptive atmosphere. We struggled to get a peaceful night’s rest due to the constant noise. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel for couples, families, or anyone seeking a comfortable, quiet stay.

Nice location and good price.

Am being kind with the score , hotel was probably amazing 40 years ago with its height ceilings and what was once a lovely hotel , but the owners really have just let this place down am surprised your still open lol , room was ok but people now like a duvet and not a blanket from when you first opened , we didn’t stay in hotel much and didn’t use pool cus it just look horrible . Breakfast well you don’t get to eat in the restaurant that’s now just a empty room with chairs stacked up so you eat in the lobby area witch was just not for me. Staff ?? I hardly seen anyone , I don’t see point of having the door desk what are they doing ? So yes price was good if you can do a night but don’t do 2nights I can say I wouldn’t return

Had a mixed experience during my stay. We initially booked a standard room, and it was awful – everything was old, outlets didn't work, and the linen quality left a lot to be desired. We went to breakfast once and left, never to return. At the reception, we saw that we could upgrade our room for an additional 600 baht per night. We did it and didn't regret it at all; it was a night and day difference. The upgraded rooms were absolutely new, everything was spotless, worked perfectly, the linen was excellent, and it was a pleasure to stay there. The location is great. A terrible downside was the flies by the pool, they were unbearable! But if you consider it a budget option, the hotel offers excellent value for money.

Only the location is good. Breakfast was average and not up to standard. The geyser was not working, and no amenities were provided. Overall, I would rate this property 4/10.

Old facilities, but location is good and plenty of parking space. The rooms definitely need a renovation. Furniture is old and worn out. The rest was ok, nothing special. Ok for a very short stay

In this price u will get many good hotels , welcom plaza is having old furniture and bed makes sound … so overall i can say average 2/5 star from me , balcony and swimming pool is the best rest rooms are ok ok , and be careful if u miss place any of the hotel belongings u will be charged 3x of that price , thay have nit given us towels on last night and the reception told ur 2 towels are missing and 1 spoon is missing from room And they chared us 1300 bth for that … i told i have same like white towel which i brought from india , they told no we want our towel … so be careful for even spoon glasses if u r in group this happens normally whn we book 3-5 rooms

Old hotel. Recently I can’t give up to mark for recommendations. Breakfast was very average. Location is fantastic

Welcome Plaza Hotel, Pattaya – 6/10 Good location near Walking Street and the beach. Rooms are spacious but outdated and could use better maintenance. Breakfast was good with a decent variety. Staff were polite but service was slow. The pool is nice, but overall, the hotel needs renovations. Good for budget travelers, but don’t expect luxury.
