Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel and Resort - Family Friendly

This is our second stay here, and everything was superb! The birthday gift they gave me was absolutely amazing, I totally didn't expect it! There were two downsides to the hotel: renovations are happening on the property and they're expanding the beach at the start of Dongtan. The breakfasts were excellent, and the rooms were nice with ocean views. Overall, we are happy with our stay at this hotel, and I'll definitely come back again.

The room here is clean, beautiful, and has a great view. There's a bathtub in the bathroom for soaking. The staff provide good service, the air conditioning is cool, and the breakfast is delicious.

We really loved the hotel. Spacious rooms, a large swimming pool, and beautiful, well-kept grounds. There's a playground near the pool and an indoor kids' club. Billiards, bowling—basically a ton of entertainment options. Housekeeping is daily; the room had both a shower and a bathtub, which was a pleasant surprise. A kettle and complimentary tea/coffee are provided. There are cafes and a night market nearby, and it's right on the beachfront. We stayed for a week, though we realized that, for us personally, a week is a bit too long for Jomtien. Next time, we'll stay here for about 5 days. We booked via Trip.com.

Let's start with the check-in: upon arrival, we were given a room in the old wing, which was a letdown - BUT - at our request, they changed it, and it got a bit better. The promised bathrobes were not in the room. We didn't ask for them separately, probably should have... During our stay, there was construction work going on, and the infinity pool was closed - there was no mention of this anywhere, no warnings. To say the breakfasts are repetitive would be wrong - they are identical every day. And most importantly - none of the rooms have a balcony, so there's nowhere to dry your swimsuit or underwear. Overall - for the price, the hotel isn't bad. Very convenient location, beachfront, you get what you pay for (cheap and cheerful). Don't expect luxury, it matches the price.

So comfortable and the pool is great. It was a shame about the pool view due to the ongoing construction.

The hotel has a great location, close to the promenade where you can take a walk and eat well, with ocean views. They provide a baby cot upon request. On the downside, the room wasn't very clean. We were staying with a small child, and when they brought in the baby cot, they moved the two large beds, revealing a lot of dust underneath. They just placed the cot and left, leaving the dirt on the floor. Breakfasts were very mediocre, with a lot of fried and greasy food, and no cheese.

This hotel is a bit old, but the pool is great. There's also a bowling alley downstairs that guests can use. The biggest drawback, though, is the sound insulation. You can hear the sound of chairs being dragged upstairs very clearly and loudly, which made it impossible to sleep. Even worse, the noise from upstairs woke me up in the middle of the night. I strongly advise light sleepers to avoid staying here.
