We had a beautiful weekend at Payerbacherhof - it is charming little hotel in a valley surrounded by lovely mountains. Breakfast was super both mornings, and we spent one day hiking all around the mountains with a great route recommendation from our host. The second day we borrowed great e-bikes from the hotel, and rode to the cable car, which we took up and walk up to the summit for gorgeous views and lunch. It is the perfect place for a peaceful and natural weekend, perfect respite from city life! The hotel has a lovely sauna and therapeutic pool, note that this is not a hot spa / hot tub as we had hoped for after a long day's walk. All the facilities were clean and welcoming, and a lovely family run place.

We only stayed one night but were very satisfied with the accommodation. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, also very good coffee and as we had very hot weather we were able to sit and enjoy it in the garden. A great place to stay if you are going hiking or visiting the festival in Reichenau.

Visited the Payerbacherhof for a special meal on the occasion of a family birthday. The overall experience was outstanding - lovely welcomming reception from all staff, great food and drink. Very happy to have gone there. Would thoroughly recommend the Payerbacherhof for dining and, on previous experiences, for accommodation.

Nach einem Ausflug auf die Rax mit meiner Familie zum Essen hier eingekehrt. Sehr schöner , schattiger Innenhof. Hunger-Durst, es gab Saisonale Gerichte wie Eierschwammerln in diversen Zubereitungsarten, Vorspeißen , Suppen, verschiedene Salate und Süßspeisen. Volltreffer, ausgezeichnetes, frisch zubereitetes Essen. Man merkt -hausgemacht. Auch auf Sonderwünsche wird eingegangen. Wir bestellenden: jetzt kommts-Gaumensex und Zungenaquaplaning Eierschwammersuppe mit Erdäpfel-so wie sie sein soll Eierschwammerlrisotto mit Blattsalat- sensationell Spinatspätzle mit Blattsalat- ein Gedicht Eierschwammetsauce mit Semmelknödel- himmlisch, eine Riesenportion mit flaumigen Riesenknödel Leider war das Dessert kein Platz mehr Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Wir kommen Wieder. Preis-Leistung sehr gut.

Das Familien-betriebene Hotel ist ideal fuer Ausfluege in die naehere Umgebung von Payerbach, wie z.B., auf die Rax, das Hoellental oder den Kreuzberg. Der Kurort selbst hat natuerlich seinen eigenen Charme aus Jahrhundert alten Zeiten und laedt zu Spaziergangen entlang des Schwarza Flusses ein ! Einzige Entaeuschung: die alte Lokalbahn faehrt nur mehr am Wochenende ... Das Hotel ist zentral in der Ortsmitte gelegen, modern ausgestattet und preisguenstig; das Fruehstueck war super ! Das Restaurant bietet eine umfangreiche Speisekarte mit sehr schmackhaften Koestlichkeiten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich & hilfsbereit. Liebe Familie Huebner - wir werden sicher wieder bei unserem naechsten Besuch hier uebernachten! Ex-Kreuzberger Fam. Langer & Held (Perchtoldsdorf & Brasilien)

Restaurant und kulinarisches Angebot sind in Ordnung, ebenso die Seminarräume. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist leider unterdurchschnittlich. Ein dringendes Update ist aber bei den Zimmern notwendig - die sind inzwischen "alt-ehrwürdig", offensichtliche Mängel werden auch nicht behoben.

Herrvoragendes 3S Hotel. gemütlicher Gasagarten und Zimmer. Da das Hotel schon 150 Jahre steht , punktet es mit Traditionalität. Besonders lob an das Personal und Junior und Senior Chefs. Mit Humor und Freundlichkeit sorgen sie dafür, dass es man sich wohlfühlt.

Ich kann, nein ich muss den Kommentar von "schwan21" vollständig zustimmen. Auch ich habe den Aufenthalt während eines Seminars genossen! Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, die Hotelbesitzer haben sich immer wieder sehen lassen und gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Das Zimmer war sehr viel geräumiger als erwartet. Am meisten gefallen hat mir der sehr freundliche Umgang mit den Gästen. Und es stimmt, auch bei uns war das Essen sehr abwechslungsreich und vor allem lecker! Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Seminar im Hotel Payerbacherhof!!
