Payette Motel

I already reviewed this once but evidently it didn't go through. We saw this place listed on *********** while planning a long road trip this August. All the other motels in Twin Falls ID area that accepted pets & were in our Budget price range were booked, according to them. So we reserved this room. Listing & sign out front Said 'Recently Remodeled' Exterior looked okay. Had trouble finding Owner/ Manager, no one in Office. Once located & giving our Reservation information he said he didn't know we had pets. This required a Change of room & parking place. Upon entering room, we saw that it appeared the Only remodeling done was a coat of paint hastily slapped on walls. Rest of room looked 1930's 'Flea Bag Motel' style- dingy, dark, large gap under room door, bathroom sink had no water pressure, shower tile cracked with tiles missing & crumbled on tile floor. 'Kitchen' area counter top was Plywood. Useless Cupboards with nothing in them. Fridge needed defrosted & cleaned, etc. All This For $169.00 for a night, $105.00 excluding Pets!! This is a Ripoff. Also shows that *********** did not view or evaluate this place. Shameful!
