Boston Marriott Peabody

No frills but no problems I guess maybe I'm used to Midwestern rooms that are more like suites (with couches, extra chairs, etc) so this seemed a bit basic. It was pretty much just the 2 beds & a dresser (with TV & minifridge, of course). BUT, it was clean, quiet, & comfortable, which are really the main points of a hotel, so I would happily stay again.

Front desk staff was super welcoming and friendly. Clean, comfy hotel. Perfect for our quick getaway!

It was close to family. I stayed there years ago. The only thing I did not like was that breakfast was not included in the price and was uber expensive.

My encounter at this establishment was, without exaggeration, nothing short of nightmarish. From the moment of my delayed arrival at 1:00 a.m., the series of unfortunate events commenced. Despite my exhaustion, I was met with a room reeking of cigarette smoke, an utterly unacceptable condition for any reputable chain. Hoping for remediation, I requested a room change, only to be ushered into another chamber of horrors. This second lodging bore the distressing surprise of a ceiling leak, which unbeknownst to me at the time, transformed my personal belongings into a soggy mess whilst I was attempting to rest. Upon awakening to this disaster, I promptly sought a resolution from the authorities in charge. Herein lies the most egregious facet of my ordeal—Mr. Mike, the manager on duty, whose demeanor was the epitome of discourtesy and sheer indifference. His brusque dismissal of my plea for a refund was not only disheartening but profoundly disrespectful. Although I had endured less than three hours in the so-called haven of comfort, to absolve himself of responsibility, Mike coldly deflected the blame onto *******, the third-party booking service. The staff were so friendly and kind. The property was super clean. Our room was pristine. Beds were so comfy. Slept like a rock both nights. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

It was a great location for me to get around. I booked a room that I could get in the bed without a running start. My nephew enjoyed the pool .
