The room is OK, worth the price, but there is no air conditioning. I also blame myself for not checking carefully before booking. When I stayed there, it was the hottest few days. I was sweating every day. The hotel quickly bought a small fan to blow in the room.

We stopped here for breakfast one morning. As we are local residents we have tried various restaurants/cafes within the area and none of them compare to The Lord Nelson. We were met by a lovely lady who served us at the bar and we ordered the eggs Benedict, the full Welsh and my daughter had the children’s breakfast. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and we can agree that it is the nicest breakfast that we have had! We will definitely be returning!

Fantastic nights stay. I had a puncture on the way to the hotel and didn’t end up arriving until 10.30 pm. The rest of the party arrived earlier and ordered my food which I obviously didn’t arrive in time for. They kept it in the kitchen for me until I arrived and said they didn’t want to serve it to me as it wasn’t to they’re standard but I was just grateful of a meal and it was fantastic, staff very pleasant, lovely feel to the place and would recommend to anyone. Would definitely book again. Diolch.

Come to stay here for sister-in-law wedding. Absolutely brilliant. Room was nice and clean staff were friendly and polite. Bathroom was modern with supply's and a beautiful light up mirror. Their was some minor faults to the room but nothing major and speaking with the team they were eager to get them sorted. We had a double room with a fantastic sea view 😍

We stayed here 25th to 27th June. We booked a King Room but we were assigned a 3/4 double. This is NOT what we booked or paid for. No hairdryer in room. Shower head not working. Asked for a fan, they never bothered to get back to us. They were given a chance to rectify the room at the time but the only response we got was we are fully booked nothing can be done. Clearly, they were in breech of contract. Suitable review posted. When we complained by email, we received a highly abusive and aggressive response. These photographs do not present an accurate representation of this dreadful hotel. This is undoubtedly the worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time. I wouldn't touch this place with a 10ft barge pole. In addition, when challenge they lie.
