The location is perfect—so close to the ocean that you just cross the street to access the beach. The staff provides excellent service, the breakfast offers a great variety of options, and the rooms are clean.

Pretty good stay here. Well located next to the beach and downtown is walkable. The rooms are a bit simple but clean. Think Bastion hotel or Holiday Inn level, but a little bigger. More of a Motel style i guess. The breakfast is amazing and they have a nice outdoor pool too! Friendly staff. I would come again.

I hadn't been to Peniche before. Decided to stay at the Star Inn and really glad that I did. Very helpful staff and location is right next to a lovely sandy beach. The breakfast was really good as was the buffet dinner which was reasonably priced with a wide choice of food available. There's also an excellent Surf School and equipment rentals - Special Surf 78 located in the hotel lobby. I'll stay here again the next time I'm in Peniche. It's a very nice hotel for a family stay and for solo travellers. I'd definitely recommend it!

The hotel is located just in front of the beach, so it takes like 3 min to get there. The rooms are very spacious and have balconies. There's also a mini fridge in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really recommend the place.

Everything great!

An interesting hotel with potential, but service was poor while we stayed there. The atmosphere of the hotel seemed to be that of staff lacking motivation and a general feeling of trying to save money. Renovations to the hotel were of poor quality and superficial. The toilet in our washroom rocked back and forth on the floor and was not installed properly. There were quaint amenities like a pool table and library. The swimming pool was nice and Jacuzzi and fitness centre were of good quality. The most disappointing aspects were the breakfast and the cafeteria staff. They did not seem motivated or friendly and during 4 days we observed them as very slow to clean the tables. They did not greet guests or seem motivated in their job. They were often not even visible for long periods. The breakfast quality was poor and very simple. The coffee in the thermoses was always cold as were the eggs and bacon. Very simple assortment of fruit. There was just a general atmosphere of lack of motivation and attention to detail. Location was good and access to shopping and amenities was fair.

Great hotel. Nice location right next to the beach. Great food and breakfast.

We had a medical emergency and had to leave the hotel to go to the hospital on the second day of our stay, even though we had booked a total of five nights. We explained the situation to the front desk, and after sending several emails to the hotel and even a Facebook message, we are very disappointed that the hotel hasn't responded at all, despite sending medical certificates as instructed by the front desk staff. We hope for more empathy and professionalism in this situation and that they would have at least responded to the emails as their guests and offered some alternative to recover those days, either through a cash payment or a voucher redeemable within a reasonable timeframe.

Excellent hotel with great value for money. Facing the beach and with a structure that surprised me. I will definitely be back on my next trip!

La seule chose "potable" dans cet hôtel est le petit déjeuner qui est très varié et le café est de bonne qualité. En revanche, concernant la chambre et la salle de bain, cela a été une telle horreur que nous avons quitté l'hôtel en plein milieu du séjour car les lits sont si durs qu'on se réveille avec des douleurs. Le mobilier est déchiré, les rideaux moisis, les lampes défaillantes, la salle de bain dégueu. L'hôtel a refusé de rembourser les nuits restantes sous prétexte qu'ils ne pouvaient pas modifier les dates de séjour. Du jamais vu ailleurs.

O hotel está muito bem localizado, tem um pequeno almoço muito bom e os funcionários são muito simpaticos! Como gostamos mais de praia, não fomos a nenhuma das piscinas! Espero voltar!
