We have just had a fabulous stay in this family run hotel. We stayed in room 3 which has a small balcony with a table and chairs and overlooks the castle and the square, perfect for an evening drink as the sun sets. Good size room, with small fridge to put your drinks in, safe available for 3€ per day, large bathroom and great shower. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the decor was modern. The breakfast for €6 was basic, toast, juice and coffee but freshly prepared and we had enough to eat. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and had a good meal. We were able to park the car in the square in front of the hotel and were lucky to get a space and didn’t move it for 3 days, it was free until the 1st of June then it is pay and display. There is another large car park a few minutes walk from the hotel if you can’t find a space. Peniscola is a great place to stay and we spent a whole day around the castle and there are some good restaurants up there We would like to thank Paco, Juan and all the staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back in the future

As an out of season weekend break , this was resonance priced at €216 for 2 nights for a front facing room . Very clean , and the balcony overlooking the castle entrance was lovely in the mornings . We English always miss our tea making facilities , but this is Spain . No breakfast , but lots of places nearby

We were four friends on a motorcycle touring holiday and stayed here two nights. It’s a small boutique hotel and we each had our own room - which were spacious and clean. They let us park our bikes outside which is always nice. Staff friendly and courteous with an excellent breakfast . Superb location on beach and edge of castle and old town. I am surprised it’s only 2* as it’s way better than that.

5 star, exceptional staff, Paco was lovely & very helpful, rooms are uber clean and fresh, we had breakfast and evening meals both of which were excellent, we would definitely stay again, one very big thank-you to Paco and all the team, we enjoyed 😎👍

The hotel is located in the old town. Large room at a reasonable price. Very close to Pensacola castle, restaurants and shops. Also close to the bus stop to train station. Breakfast for 6 euros was amazing. People at the hotel were vey nice. The hotel has cafe and restaurant. Unfortunately, I stayed Monday night when the restaurant was closed.

This is a small, family run hotel. The location is perfect if you want to be between the beach and the old city. Our room was spacious enough and the bed was very comfortable. The biggest fault that we had was with the pillows, which we did not find comfortable at all (but not enough to knock off a star). Nice door to open up the room to get some fresh sea air. The bathroom was lovely and well stocked. There was one comfortable chair in the room along with a padded stool and desk. Plenty of storage. Clean with sea inspired decor. I believe they have very strict hours for the check-in, so if one arrives late, that may be a problem. Wifi worked well. We would recommend the breakfast offered in the hotel. We did not try the restaurant in the hotel during the normal hours. Outside of the restaurant hours, there isn't any food or drink available.

The cleaning is worse, and the workers are not attentive, the rooms are very small and the pillows are horrible. When you arrive, they receive you at a table in the bar because there is no reception. I needed help but they could not do anything for me, things that a hotelier would do.

Hotel pequeño y tranquilo muy bien situado. Pegado a la playa, a la zona antigua, a 3 minutos andando de la oficina de turismo. Con facil aparcamiento, en la propia plaza, durante unas fechas no hay que pagar hora. O en un parking a 2 minutos andando. La habitación es espaciosa y bastante silenciosa, cama grande y colchón cómodo, con una pequeña nevera. Tienen restaurante donde también se puede desayunar con unos precios correctos. Fantástico trato familiar. Sin dudarlo lo recomiendo.
