Upon arrival we were welcomed very friendly with a welcome cocktail. We were there at 13.00. We had contact beforehand via whatsapp, we wanted an early checkin and we were told that this was possible, but with extra charges, of course we accepted. However, when we arrived, they told us that we couldn’t get in our room and that we had to wait untill 15.00, even after showing the text message it was not possible. Surroundings are perfect, we had the bamboo village romance, with perfect views and a jacuzzi, perfection! Cocktails and food were great! Also perfect room service! Unfortunately there are other resorts in the neighbourhood and they have big party’s starting at 03.00 and will last until 04.30: when asking reception and security: nothing can be done, not even a phone call apparently. Then check out day arrived: I felt like a criminal. Two persons came to our villa and checked everything: minibar, bathroom, the bed, etc… like I was going to take the towels or pillows?! After a long proces of making up the Bill we finally got it, unfortunately it still had some flaws in it, besides that we had to show proof that the booking was paid for - it was a booking via ******* with full prepayment, booked 6 months in advance… At the end: it is a beautifull resort, perfect villa’s, good food/drinks, but there are some major concerns.
