"This amazing hotel was renovated in 2024. It is bright, clean, high ceilings give an open atmosphere. The breakfast room is spacious! Excellent selection for breakfast including eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, yogurt, waffles, toast, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice . Desk staff were lovely. This hotel was a great surprise! Fabulous location in Penticton and quiet."

"We really did enjoy our stay in Balcomo, close to nearby stores (grocery, Starbucks, tim hortons) 5 minutes drive going to okanagan lake. Room is clean and I asked for extra towels so I don’t have to bother them, glad they gave us extra beforehand. Desk chair has a little damage keeps ruining my pants whenever I sit there. Wasn’t able to use their TV would be great if there’s netflix or disney. We enjoy the warm pool. I even witnessed aurora borealis during our 2nd night."

The room was small and the building old but this was totally fine as all the furniture was in good or great condition and was very clean. Bathroom was also recently renovated so that was nice too."

The large heated pool was a huge bonus and perfect for enjoying the warm Penticton weather. Great value and a very pleasant atmosphere — we would happily stay again!"

Peaceful property with lovely garden area for breakfast and incredible views of the lake from a lookout area above the vineyard. Really nice place.
