Sandman Hotel Penticton ★★★
"Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Convenient location, walking distance to the lake and some restaurants."
Penticton Lakeside Resort ★★★
"We checked in on August 1. The property is in a beautiful location, but unfortunately our arrival experience was disappointing. After about four hours, our room was still not cooling down even though the air conditioner had been running continuously. As we were travelling with a toddler, we called the front desk for assistance. We were initially told that the room temperature would be adjusted remotely to 21°C, but nothing changed. When we called back and requested that someone inspect the unit in person, the receptionist instead explained how to use the thermostat, even though we had already tried those steps. During the conversation, her tone came across as irritated, impatient, and dismissive rather than helpful. Instead of listening to our concerns, she repeatedly explained how to use the thermostat, even though we had already followed those steps. She also asked where we had booked our stay, which made us feel uncomfortable, as it seemed to suggest that booking through a third party might affect the service we received. She then placed us on hold, but instead of returning to the call, she disconnected it without any explanation or resolution. Being hung up on while simply trying to resolve an issue with our room felt disrespectful and was the most disappointing part of the experience. When we called again, we requested a refund because of how the situation had been handled. The hotel then offered to move us to a different room, and the air conditioning in the new room worked properly. This made us feel that there may have been an issue with the original room’s AC all along."
Beachside Motel ★★
"Booked a kitchen suite which was very convenient for an extended weekend ski trip. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet."
Sunny Beach Motel ★★
Coast Penticton Hotel ★★
"Hotel is newly renovated but could use more refinement on the finishes. New floors which feels cleaner. New equipments and furnitures. Location is noot too bad since it is just stone throw away from supermarket and fastfood restaurants. Hotel ddriveway entrance is just a bit awkwardly located. Could also use some more training on the hotel staff regarding room service and checking-in and checkout process."
Days Inn by Wyndham Penticton Conference Centre ★★
"Good location, easy access to wineries."
Fairfield Inn & Suites Penticton ★★★
"This hotel truly deserves a 5-star rating for its excellent cost-performance ratio! The 24-hour coffee and tea station in the common area is such a thoughtful touch, and the welcoming hot chocolate during the cold winter brought so much joy to my kids. The service staff were incredibly friendly and responsive. I also really enjoyed the friendly conversations with them—they made us feel at home. The breakfast was high quality, and my kids had so much fun making waffles using the waffle machine. For someone like me who needs to work out daily, the gym room was just perfect—spacious, clean, and energizing. The swimming pool and hot tub were also a hit with the kids, keeping them entertained and happy throughout our stay. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for families. We will definitely stay here again!"
Balcomo, a Ramada by Wyndham ★★★
"We really did enjoy our stay in Balcomo, close to nearby stores (grocery, Starbucks, tim hortons) 5 minutes drive going to okanagan lake. Room is clean and I asked for extra towels so I don’t have to bother them, glad they gave us extra beforehand. Desk chair has a little damage keeps ruining my pants whenever I sit there. Wasn’t able to use their TV would be great if there’s netflix or disney. We enjoy the warm pool. I even witnessed aurora borealis during our 2nd night."
Riverside Motel ★★
"The motel was in a good location. The room was run down and not very clean"

Valley Star Motel
"We had a fantastic stay at Valley Star Motel. The room was very comfortable, spotless, and well maintained. Everything felt clean and cared for, which made our stay really relaxing. The large heated pool was a huge bonus and perfect for enjoying the warm Penticton weather. Great value and a very pleasant atmosphere — we would happily stay again!"
Golden Sands Resort Motel
Flamingo Motel
Apple Tree Inn
"We picked this motel based off some decent reviews, and for our purposes, it was an ok stay. I would say still quite expensive for what you get, but it is high tourist season, so this was one of the most reasonably priced motels. When we arrived, it was raining, and our room was leaking from the roof. Because we had arrived late, we had to stay (as there is no one in the office during night hours). In the morning, we called the manager, and they were very quick to accommodate getting us another room. The rooms are dated, and not the cleanest. It was nice to have the small kitchen in our room, which had a coffee pot, microwave, full size fridge and stove. The wifi and a/c unit worked well. The grounds are nicely kept, pool area was nice. Ample parking. I would have liked to be able to see an actual owner or manager.....we never did see them in the office, we only every communicated by phone/email, so would be nice to have some business hours to talk to someone face to face Overall, ok stay, but this hotel needs some cleaning and updating. "
Munson Mountain Estates
"Very nice stay for 3 nights. Beautiful area of vineyards and farms just outside Penticton on the way to Naramata. Peaceful property with lovely garden area for breakfast and incredible views of the lake from a lookout area above the vineyard. Really nice place. Happy we stayed here rather than being in the main town."
Above the Beach Guest Suites
"Wonderful view from the room and great to have a balcony , comfy room, super location just above the beaches and next to wineries. The breakfasts are a bonus ! Yummy!"
Kettle Valley Beach Resort
Spanish Villa Resort
"I stayed in this hotel for one night in Penticton. I likeee it"
Empire Motel
"The room is clean and the facilities are very new. The refrigerator, microwave oven, TV, coffee machine are all available. There is a saltwater outdoor swimming pool. What I want to say is that it takes a few minutes to walk to the lake. There is a beach by the lake. The lake is clear and bottomed. There is also a park near the lake. The grass in the park is very green and the trees are very green. You can also play beach volleyball by the lake More worth mentioning is the boss' enthusiasm"
