about my stay at Cardiff west M4 on 12th April 2025, the hotel room looked okay upon arriving but did have a strong paint smell which meant I had to open the window. I did see bits of strawberries on the floor under the desk, there were crisps on the corner chair and mould on the ceiling in the corner of the room. My worst part of the stay was waking up to find a flea on the bedding and finding I had been bitten 4 times through the night. 1 on the heal of my foot, 2 on my leg and 1 on my face.

Great check in with help from Alan who also helped us with taxis to and from the Travelodge! Rooms are fab and cosy, perfect for a little getaway! The bathroom was nice only downside was not having a lock on the door as it was me and two mates staying for the six nations. However we just knew not to come in if the door was shut.

Really friendly service at reception- the guy was really friendly which makes such a difference after a long journey- a friendly arrival goes a long way! Great comfortable room , 👌 Thanks! free parking really help too! close to the city!!!

Really good service and helpful staff. Couldn’t do enough. Really quick check in. Nice clean rooms. Good location for going into Cardiff to watch rugby. Reasonable price. Just need to book taxi in advance. Parking free with hotel, good access of motorway

Great friendly service, I arrived a little early, the manager did me great favour by letting me have my room key early. The room was clean and nicely presented, tea and coffee available. Managed to get to my meeting on time thanks to him. Much appreciated thank you.
