Ixora Hotel Penang
"Nice hotel. But not much around other than an adjoining mall that you can pickup summer massive bargains at. Mall is worth exploring as everything is on sale for Incredible prices. We had a car and you get free parking right below hotel. If you want a nice hotel with great kids pool and super affordable shopping centre pretty much to yourself this is the place."

Nadi Glamping Suites
"A cozy place, but that time too bad because of raining can't go for a walk beside glamping. But overall very nice and easy to get food by walking distance."
Grand Orient Hotel Perai
"Best and so satisfying to stay at Grand Orient Hotel. There's a waterpark lagoon too, super fun! The staff service was excellent and kind. Will definitely go again! 😊😊😊 Thank you Grand Oriental Hotel, I give it 5 stars ⭐"
Golden Nasmir Hotel
"It's a very old hotel. There is food downstairs and a market in the back. It's no problem to stay for one night. The hotel is right next to the road, so it can be a bit noisy. Breakfast is average, there are more Indians"
Meritus @ Jovial
"Wouldn't want to come back to this place. It wasn't a 2 bedroom unit. There was the master bedroom and the other one was the living area turned into a bedroom by putting up a sliding door as a partition. The towels are not white colour, it looks brownish. something wrong with the bedsheets and blankets as my whole family felt itchy like as if there's dust mites. We didn't have a proper sleep that night and the next morning, we checked out before 10am. The bathroom was so filthy, stains on floors, walls and stains on the entire glass (separating the toilet & the shower). It looks like the bathroom hardly being cleaned up and stench smell of urine. The kitchen sink is dirty & rusty. Lots of ants and baby cockroaches. Cleaning equipment such as wet mop, vacuum, dust pan, broom etc we placed right outside the bathroom door (not placed in a storage area). The dining area was just a table counter which was wobbly/shaky with 4 stools. There was no fan or AC and the area became hot and stuffy because bedroom doors are closed and you are just in a closed up area. Balcony in the master bedroom was so dirty. You can't pull to close the curtains over the sliding doors because the curtain hooks are stucked/spoiled. Overall, I wont stay here again"

Bahagia Family House in Meritus
"Very disappointing stay and not worth the price paid. The cleanliness of this homestay was extremely poor. The bathroom walls and toilet were covered with mold. The dishwashing sponge holder was also moldy and unhygienic. The towels and bed sheets provided were old, worn out, and did not look clean. On top of that, the toilet light was flickering and clearly not maintained. A major issue occurred the moment we entered the unit, there was no electricity, even after inserting the power card. We were instructed to switch off all the fuses at the switch box and wait for 15 minutes before turning them on again, but the electricity still did not come back. To make matters worse, we found a coin inserted inside a power socket, which is extremely dangerous and completely unacceptable. Parking was very inconvenient as it was located up high, which take about 10 min to reach the allocated parking lot and the driveway leading up to the parking lot is very narrow, making it difficult for cars to pass through comfortably. The security deposit of RM300 is unreasonably high considering the poor condition of the unit. The check-in process was overly complicated with too many rules and procedures. It became even more frustrating because the security personnel explaining the process could not communicate in Malay, making it difficult for us to fully understand the instructions. Overall, this accommodation is not recommended at all. Basic cleanliness, safety, and management standards were not met and require serious improvement."
Prai Jaya 2
"Bad! I booked a twin room. When I went to check in, the front desk service attitude was very bad. They didn't check me in. I went out for a walk and had something to eat. When I returned to the front desk, they still refused to help me check in. They were indifferent and said, "It's very busy now, it's better for you to cancel." I negotiated with the front desk. The other party agreed to my cancellation, but after I applied for cancellation, the merchant didn't refund me at all. In other words, the merchant agreed to my cancellation, but I didn't actually check in, but the other party didn't refund the money! I can only ask Ctrip customer service to deal with it. In the end, the merchant didn't refund the money. The environment is very bad, very old, an old house from 30 years ago. I hope more people will see this comment and avoid pitfalls. Otherwise, you will regret it very much if you book it. Attached picture, worrying environment. Ctrip actually settled such merchants on the platform. It is estimated that the platform has no review of the merchants. It's incredible!"
